Teach me how to bot????

What profile do you use on a fresh spawn character? cant seem to find one that doesnt try to equip a soul crystal... thanks in advance!

That profile does not contain any "job checks" that will attempt to equip a Soul Crystal.

Not at this time. You'll have to do a Stop => Start.

 

Anything I can do to help the bot out in the Dravanian Forelands? Everytime it has/wants to go over a cliff it will either stop itself spamming the message below, or just spaz out running back and forth on the same spot.

I need to see a full log file, please. That CodeChunk is in there under that name, but you could have compiler errors at the top, which aren't allowing the RunCode tag to compile.

You could try Pastebin or Dropbox as well.

 

Ty for your hard work bud, been using it since I got the game Last month. Just was wondering if you get enough requests for "LeveQuests" to be added in? I am only asking since leveling second jobs from 1-50 takes some time. Once I hit 50 on those jobs I can do the dungeons for 50-60 that I unlocked via main story on my Drg that is level 52.

 

Hi y2krazy, love the bot! It's awesome for completing the MSQ and class missions.

I was wondering if you could help figure out a bug.

When I run the lvl 20 maelstrom leve profiles or the "Double Dose of Impin" one, this happens:

• The bot correctly teleports to Lower La Noscea and grabs the leve from the NPC
• The bot navigates to the center of the leve circle
• The bot spams the map open and closed forever and does nothing else

The bot isn't properly initiating the Leve.

You're welcome! I believe the Leve tag needs to be updated. I likely won't have time soon for that, but you can try using ExBuddy's Leve tag instead.

Sorry to have to ask this, I just spent 30 min trying to figure it out on my own.

I don't know what a tag is. I already have EXbuddy in my plugins folder though, so I think I'm already using that one.

What exactly do I need to do to use exbuddy's leve tag?

I closed the bot app, deleted my EX buddy folder from plugins and DLed that link you posted. I updated the SVN maelstrom folder. When I started up the bot app and ran the leve profile, it did the same thing.

Hi y2krazy! First off, just want to say thank you for all your hard work putting these profiles together. I recently got into the Heavensward profiles but I am having trouble continuing. Please see the first post so you can snag ExBuddy. This will be phased out eventually, but for now, please pick it up.

Please be sure my SVN is under \Rebornbuddy\Profiles\y2krazy in order for the LoadProfile tag to work properly.

These issues are likely due to a NPC being behind a table/stall, or if the zone is only reachable through a NPC. I'll be addressing these as I find them. For now, please take note of the zone number (398 in this case), open the [O] GetTo.xml profile in the top-level directory of my SVN and manually move (usually TP) to the Aetheryte noted in the comment at the end of the line (e.g., <!-- Foundation -->).
