[OrderBot] BTN/MIN Cluster Farm

Works like a charm, one thing though, cant you make your character stand still after harvesting? I mean instead of moving back to the excact same spot everytime its finished? It just looks a bit unnatural to me, normally when i farm by myself i just keep standing around till the next point pops up. Other than that im loving this profile good job!

 

Blessed Harvest II // Kings Yield II works exactly the same way. And can be used before harvesting. Whereas the wards require you to uncover the nodes first, the bot simply wont use skills after it starts gathering.

No, that's just how the bot works, the central spot is where it would always idle. You could add seperate hotspots for all the nodes, but this would make the bot walk between all 3 when the nodes are unavailable. So 1 central hotspot was the lesser of 2 evils.

 

The profile works great while its running, but seems to stop (finish) on its own often. I notice it always happens after the log in the RB client 'clears' and starts a new page.

mine stops too after a little while, only gathers about 60 crystals. also using test.xml

I too have noticed this, but for how long I leave it going for it suits my purpose. I couldn't actually tell you why it's stopping, as Classy should reset the profile, yet it still does. It's gotta be an RB issue, but the log isn't very revealing. Could you post logs of it stopping, specifically those where it's started a new log, just so I can (try) see what the bots doing. Thanks.

Seems to be an error with routines when it does a class change? I've seen it handle class changes just fine though.

 

I actually removed restarting the profile from the plugin.

When it would restart the profile after a class change, and a profile had multiple hotspots for the same timeframe of a cluster spawn.. it would always go back to the first hotspot, even if you were at the second hotspot and did a class change.. this would cause the profile to completely restart and run back to the first hotspot before turning around and going to the initial spot it was at during the class change.

 

That seems to be an issue with Magitek itself. Magitek hasnt really been updated in a while. One was trying to keep it up to date, but stopped working on it to work on their nin routine.. While magitek is by far one of the best routines to use for bard, I do not believe it has support for recognizing the class change.. I would recommend trying to use a different routine. There are some that do recognize the class changes automatically, but I personally havent had luck with those while using Classy.. The default routines that come with RB (kupo) have been working for me though.

 

Yeah I know you changed it, but i'm still using the old version. Thing is, i can't seem to replicate. It ran for almost 5 hours last night and I couldn't see any error (This is using v1.2). I'm gonna try switching back to the while tag = true, and manual switching to see if it makes any difference. Trying to stay low key tho, i've amassed almost 2k of each cluster, and folks are starting to notice me lol.

 

Well, its not just with Magitek. If you scroll through the log, it throws errors for each routine. I've tried starting as a combat class using Kupo, starting as a gatherer class, doesn't seem to make a difference.

 

Yeah, it's definitely something wrong with the installation. It shouldn't be doing that with any routine. Might want to reinstall the VC redist and Dot NET. and reinstall with BuddyWizard.

ps: thank you for your ixal daily quest profile, i am so sick of those quests! i dont mind the crafting but running here there and everywhere was a pain, well appreciated!

 

Great . I'll be glad once the Ixal Profiles are finished, so I can go back and Iron out a few bugs in my Sahagin ones, and finally get around to amending the Kobold profiles and creating the Respected Rank. That will finally finish off my beast tribe dailies. Sylph I did before getting the bot, hell it was the sole reason I got it, goddamned monotonous quests. But if i'm bored, i'll no doubt do them too. If i've the time. I really hope Mastahg can get around to even a basic craft mode, as these Ixal dailies are really simplistic, and can be done with a 1 button macro. It would really complete them if I could get them to autocraft too.

 

New profile looks to be working great. Been running for hours without problem.

 

Great stuff, now all I need to do is check that it ends properly (and re-enable mount).

Also, 1.2 seems to not work, the chocobo code chunk's comment section is on line 225 instead of 226, Quick tweak, but some people might not know how..

 

Updated with v1.4 Re-enables mount option after completion.

P.S.
Used kupo, started as WHM, didn't change the class back to Miner/Botanist, tried to let the script do that itself, It didn't.
Then tested by manually changing to Miner, script did the same thing.
The script will run to the generic hotspot, it seems.
