[PB] [A] Mining + Engineering fully automated

When it starts gathering it says will gather until 65 tin ore. Sounds odd with 100 tin ore in bags.

Also using the engineering and mining profile will just make it fly over the vendor and more or less straight up. I have tried with international settings. No change. Seems like X,Z is correct by Y inverted.

 

Hmm.. I loaded with ProfessionBuddy but still getting the error.. :/

 

The international settings shouldn't be an issue anymore. But if it for some reason was, it has corrupted the coords in the profile and you'll need to redownload it. About the endless farming, I'm aware of it and looking into the issue. Look a few posts back for updates on this.

Try switching to GatherBuddy2 bot and load a GB2 profile.

 

Hi. im also having some issues, seems the profile keeps flying randomly around over Ogre Mound in Duskwood. It doesn't farm any nodes but flies around. It does this even though i have enough materials farmed to level engineering - If anyone has tried this and found a fix please tell

 

Thanks for looking into this. It's an intersting problem. The only thing that I can think of is that when it was around 60 I didn't have more time. I stopped it and closed it and wow. After that is has not been it's normal self again.

btw: The error message that we get from the gathering profiles can you possibly fix that too even if it doesn't seem to be a problem (the hotspots). It might make something work slightly better with GB2????

 

The GB profiles used are not made by me, most of them are the ones that come with PB, except for the 2 that are also in the .zip when you download this profile. Anyhow, what problems are you having with GB2?

 

Must have been using an old profile I am not getting the GB2 warnings anymore.

I have searched the xml file for 2771 which I assume is Tin Ore. However I can't see any condition around 65 ores anywhere. Is it an && condition where many things need to be satisfied? I also tried to put stuff in my bank and mine myself back over 65 Tin Ores without any improvement.

 

Yea it's a very long line of conditions, about 1300+ characters in that line.

Well i wasn't sure about how do post the log and whatnots, but i'll try this...

Basically i've farmed 525 tin ore, my mining is level 169, and the portion of the profile that loads is "now lets train our mining to 100 or 65 tin which ever comes first

 

I am getting the impression that it's a previous crafting step that has failed. These three conditions are && together. This means if there are for instance no Practice lock created before it won't work.

Condition
(InbagCount (2836) + InbagCount (4364)) > 40
2836 = Coarse Stone > 100
4364 = Coarse Blasting Powder = 32

Condition
&& InbagCount (2771) + InbagCount (3576) + (InbagCount (2841) * 2) + (InbagCount (6712) * 2)) > 55
2771 = Tin Ore
3576 = Tin Bar
2841 = Bronze Bar
6712 = Practice Lock

&& InbagCount (2840) + InbagCount (2770) + (InbagCount (2841) * 2) + (InbagCount (6712) * 2) + InbagCount (4359)) > 115)
2840 = Copper Bar
2770 = Copper Ore
4359 = Handful of Copper Bolts

All three have to be satisfied

Think I found the problem. It seems like it's too little copper that did it. Might have been to little farmed or just that I thought bags where full and I threw a bunch in the bank before next run. A suggestion then would be to find which of the minerals that are missing and go to that area. In a higher level area it might prove impossible to find the lower type of ore.

 

Have a huge problem with the crafting now. The bot more or less flies straight up. from the vendor. Either coordinates are inverted or some kind of decimal gets wrong.

Problem is fixable if you just land at the trainer or vendor and click PB ... and it will save the correct coordinates. Will post the correct SW (for me) coordinates when I have fixed them all.

 

Endless copper also

Hey I had the same problem as a previous poster. I couldnt figure out why but its would not move on it farmed copper ore till I had like 46 stacks or copper ore and , about 40 stacks of rough stone. I restarted HB and it corrected itself, just really weird. Its not related to copper ore specificly because my friend is also using the same profile and it did it to him with Tin ore he had 60 stack of tin ore lol.

 

Found two more problems.

At skill 194 it stopped making Solid Blasting Powder, making it impossible to continue
At 244 There was not enough mithril casings to continue making hi-explosive bomb. The most unfortunate part about this was that it started to constantly run between AH and vendor saying bags are full even though it had already vendored and AHed stuff. Had 54 free bag slots.

Is this profile tested on a character with the guild perk working day and night ?

 

Yup I've tested it with all guild perks.

 

btw you guys who said there are problem with coords.. All the coords are correct, as I've gone to all the vendors and pressed the button to input their coords. So I'm thinking that maybe there is still an issue with regional settings. Try opening your regional settings (shortcut: intl.cpl if you have vista or 7 just type this in the search in start menu. Pre-vista can press windows button + R and type intl.cpl), and then click "Additional Settings".
It should be the following (at least to be sure it isn't causing bugs):
Decimal Symbol: .
Digit Grouping Symbol: ,

After you've done this, you'll need to redownload the profile, and most likely close HB and reopen.

I have 4xembersilk bags .. could bag detection be the issue?

 

interesting, engineering was stuck on 244 (mining 202), I made mith castings to 251 and started it again and it appears to be off and running again, not sure for how long! .. watch this space!!

edit: I also selected the gnome quest from the quest giver in sw.

edit edit: got crap loads of thorium and smelted away nicely, and is now proceeding to make dense blasting powder.. cant risk leaving it running overnight after that last incident though.

 

Are you also in a guild which is low level. At level 14 you have 10% higher chance of getting a skill point for you crafting. That's probably why we end up short on mithril casings.

 

Level 25 guild, maybe I was just really unlucky - atleast we know how to kick start it, might be worth sticking another 10 or so casings into the profile?
