you are using an outdated version of PB. update from SVN https://professionbuddy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Professionbuddy/

 

Had this problem also but as the bossman (Inrego) said just manual skill up Engi to 130 and the bot alto took over again and went off to farm heavy stone.

EDIT... It will keep mining tin until u have 110 mining and then it will move onto next profile slot...

Seriously? It moved on from tin farming automatically for you? That's great news! (Oh, btw in case some of you don't check out the OP very often.. I've stopped developing on this project, I don't have time for such a big project now that I started studying at the University. I welcome anyone who feels like it to pick up where I left off on this project, it's free to use and develop on. If no one else does it I might come back and continue if/when I get more time on my hands, but I'm studying Computer Science, so odds are, that I will by that time work on something more interesting (like CC's, plugins, botbases w/e), only time will tell)

up eng 215 manualy go train and work again . I thinck there must be problem in skill up cause by it randomic up

Also i think there must be reserve farmed in about 10-15% of materials to up skill properly 247 eng dont have mithril edging bot goes to farm mithril ore ( in bags was 80 bars ) after manualy up skill to 250 ( few bombs) bot goes to farm thorium .//// looks what gona be next )))
Q: Is there able to make profile only for engeneering ( when all mats i`ll buy manualy from AH )

 

I started running this today. So far my mining skill is at 75 and I have 304 copper in my bags. I don't think this is working correctly....

 

So everytime I've tried this, it farmed Copper until my bags were full. I had hundreds and hundreds of Copper and I was stuck at 75 mining.

So I'm not sure how this happened, because I didn't change anything. But when I started this in Profession Buddy for the trillionth time, it started to work. It got my Engineering up to 170something and mining up to about 160. My bags were full and it went and vendored EVERYTHING it had made. Then when it was done.. it went back out and started farming Copper endlessly. After restarting honorbuddy a zillion times and working stuff out, it's still not working anymore.

When I load the profile and run it through Profession Buddy, it shows what I attached in the log, but it just goes right back to Elwynn and attempts to monopolize the copper market.

My version of Profession Buddy is 1.139 (I had to save each individual file from the trunk.. how annoying.. there's no zip of the entire thing??).

See any reason why this thing doesn't just pick up where it left off?

About getting the latest version, you should install SVN, it get's all the files for you and makes it easy to update there are some guides on the forums.

I keep getting that error whenever I try to start it...
I open HB, change to Questing, to go plugins and open up the GUI for ProfessionBuddy, open the profile and start it and then I get that error.

What am I doing wrong? I've never used ProfessionBuddy before so I'm rather new at this. I've downloaded the new PB and redownloaded HB just to make sure it's up to date.

 

Did you redownload through SVN or some .zip? If it's not SVN, then it's better to use the version that was bundled with HB.

 

I downloaded through the newest SVN. I tried again a couple hours ago doing the same steps and it's working somehow now??
Regardless, I started the profile and it seems people have had the same problem as I did. It kept mining copper ores even though I had over 330 in my bags. Restarted HB and it seemed to solve the problem.

Now I have a bunch of copper bars, rough stone and practice locks that seem to be useless in my bags. Should I take over and vendor/AH them or will the bot do that on its own?

New problem now. I'm at 108 mining and 160 engineering. I had to restart HB cause of internet problems. Now he's just mindlessly mining copper veins for no apparent reason...

*Edit* So now I went ahead and got my mining to 125 so I could train for the next level in case that was causing problems. Restarted HB and he's still mining copper veins...]

*Edit2* I've attempted to recreate the last known working action which is to mine 40 heavy stone for blasting powder. Finished doing that and the bot seemed to be working. It went on to make some explosive sheep and one gyromatic micro adjustor and then it started bugging out again. It wanted to go mine more heavy stone until 170 mining or something like that. It mounts up, then it says it's time to make things and needs to go to Stormwind. Unmounts, then says it needs to mine more heavy stone and the process keeps going over and over again. I restart HB and WoW and start the profile again. He's back to mining copper and I have no idea what to do.

*Edit3* I'm getting this error right when I start the bot and before he starts going crazy with the copper ores.

Yea I'm afraid there are some bugs, and the more time goes, the more bugs seem to appear with small changes coming to PB without me updating the profile :/ it's just too big of a project for me to maintain right now. About the stuff in your bags, it wil sell all the stuff you don't need anymore at certain steps or if your bags are full.
Remember to check settings to control if it sells to vendor or AH.

Hello i just tried to start using this profile and the bot doesnt seem to want to do anything just mount up and dismount.

Issue

hey
i set my honorbuddy on gatherbuddy 2, load this profile and start it.. first it worked well, it farmed a lot of materials, so i improved my skills (engeneering 76, mining 175) and now he only farms more and more mats but
1. only grey so i dont increase my skills
2. if the bags are full he goes to AH, sells 3-4 stacks and then returns to farming (low mats so i dont get skills)
3. sometimes he only stops moving if the bags are full
why? what did i do wrong?
