Yeah, I had to modify the addon a little and updating with curse just removes the changes

I originally started doing it manually, but you have to click so often, and it pretty much eliminates the idea of having a bot if you have to be at your pc with your hand on your mouse ready to click all the time. Not only that but it's almost like playing whack-a-mole with only 1 mole :/

 

Meh, noone wants to join a level 1 guild ..

Good stuff. Eliminates the need to baby sit the addon and mash invite.

 

Level 1 Guild. First day 300 members. Second day 1,000. Turns out the cap for a guild is 1,000 members. 4th day and level 3 now.

Did you use whisper?

 

Nice! Yeah it's 1000, that's why I said I have to keep kicking lower levels to make room for higher levels ^^

 

Whisper AFTER invite, so you don't spam blocked/New accounts.

Also, this was on a level 8 character. So level doesn't matter at all.

Make sure that as soon as they join, everything looks professional. Since you're level one, this is what matters most now.

My message: Hello, PLAYER! NAME is now recruiting! We are a level LEVEL guild, and are growing rapidly. We would love to have you with us!

 

Hi, the addon is not very active for me ... I wonder if it would not be a concern with the language used by wow (I'm French)
Can you tell me if the addons scan words that are only English? Maybe I could change the addons that scan for these words but in French

I don't think the language should have anything to do with it. Make sure you have ticked the "Do a more thorough scan" box.

Looking at the contents of the LUA AddOns I noticed it was scanning class by class

In French we have names for male and female classes. So I have changed the AddOns that scan for all classes and all races

I can't for the life of me figure out how you even got that many members in such short time. I've been running this plugin for 2 days straight now and only 3 people accepted the guild invite, 2 of them left shortly after.
I'm on a very high population realm by the way.

 

Metus, What level is your guild, I found it works best to buy a level 5+ guild for like 4k gold on your realms forums, People tend not to accept invites from guilds below level 5, and the likelyhood of somebody accepting increases by each level the guild gains.

 

I find this hard to believe. I have a lvl 25 guild on a very high pop server and don't even get a fraction of that. And you are lvl 1.

 

I am having this same issue.
Its something with HB, if i rename HB dir it works the first time i run the bot after renaming. if i restart the bot it will start with the issues again :/
even a "new" bot ( default no other plugins etc.) will do this [works first time and not again]
I know the binds are still working toggling F9/F11 work perfectly, just seems the bot cant trigger them..

any ideas seems like something is being cached or something like that ?

kinda annoying having to rename HB dir every time i want to automate SGI (using HBRelog breaks it when I Get DC/Freeze up since it will relog HB/wow)

EDIT --> ( I forgot to mention The Plugin was working flawlessly up till a few days ago, I cant think of anything that has changed)

 

That's really odd :/ It has to be something with Honorbuddy, maybe one of the devs or someone could explain why the VKEYs aren't being sent to the game?

I downloaded it and I am going to give it a go later when I decide on a guild name...I was wondering if you could share good ways to get people interested in joinning the guild in the first place, and then convincing them to stay...offer guild repairs or something? What will keep them in the guild leveling it up for you and giving you free gold?! Thanks so much for the plugin +rep!
