The list of known hearthstone locations is short for now. 197 innkeepers exist. The plugin uses hearth if it encounters an unknown place and then sends the data back to the author. It should happen only once per unknown location.
no idea what might happen if you cancel your hearth like that it probably just disabled using your hearthstone until next time you start the bot. if you're in the same zone as your hearth location it can confuse it tho. if you were 5 yards away you might have seen it complain about the zone id causing the hearth to appear to have failed. slowly collecting a list of all the hearth locations, hopefully eventually "one day" it should never have to use your hearth like that

appears that my code cant handle the hellscream's reach tabard properly. rings and capes work, but i still havent tested the tabards, ill have to try to get one to test with. do you have a tabard equipped? i suspect its freaking out because it cant swap it. temporary solution is to put your hellscream tabard in your bank.
seems it'll stuck in the unercity, i suggest that you could add silvermoon, and walk thru the portal to the outside of undercity. will be much easier to get on.
This happens due to a bug when you've an empty slot in your inventory. aside from the above bug, the only time ive seen it remount is in Tol Barad. appears to be a bug with HB, and not hearthomatic, I havent found a solution. version 0.11 uploaded: 0.11 fix for equipping and unequipping items when player has an empty slot in their inventory ... nude players... sheesh increased waiting for load delay, new hb is showing non-critical errors every time it re-checks. further tweaks to ironforge's exit path i have the alliance tabard now, and was able to test successfully, both with and without another tabard already equipped.
Uldum portal opens after quest 28112, not after 28134. You might want to fix this. For everyone, who completed only "Escape from the lost city" quest, but not the "Impending retribution" there are two possible solutions: 1) Complete Impending Retribution (simple quest, next in the chain), obvious fix 2) Open your hearthomatic 0.11.cs file, go to the line 1300 and replace 28134 with 28112. Aside of this - great plugin, i recommend it for everyone who is leveling with ArcheologyBuddy. Thank you very much for it.
hey Guud, thanks for the update. ive updated the quest requirements and it will be included in the next version of the plugin. I used sites like wowwiki and wowhead to work out which quests open the portals, sounds like they might need to be updated for this one
I would like to request an option to disable to use of Tol Barad portal on my mage. Because that is the reason I don't use the plugin really. It'd be awesome if it didn't port there, but just to SW instead (yes I know its quicker but the double mounting thing is bad). Thanks for your effort
sell out all your arcane runes, set your home in ogri, it will simply uses the hearthstone only. dont forget to disable addons such as [autotrade], in case you need repair it may gets the runes back leave all your tabards (esp. the one you wearing) in the bank, this may also help as i ve tested (at least it mount less time to get thru....)
Two hours later.... Works great, found 18 Portals and is even showing me better routes to follow sometimes
Hi all another pretty large update by not dismounting for some types of portals, and not allowing archaeologybuddy to take over in some specific situations, the plugin's travels are looking a whole lot more natural now. the side effect is that its a little quicker too! ive also added a special condition for tol barad to not even attempt to mount. its not a long walk to the portal anyway. archaeologybuddy itself still causes the character to mount up, but only about 50% of the time. but at most it only happens once, and never dismounts. combined with the other changes above it's looking very human now. i believe tol barad is very important, as for me it seems to save several minutes vs the teleport: stormwind equivalent. it adds up very quickly v0.12 dont even try to mount in tol barad (zone id 5389) updated uldum portal opening quest more changes to waiting for load - you're just gonna have to ignore the errors in the debug log, theyre non-critical and I cant seem to reliably get around them. increased wrong_zone_re_check try count removed a 200ms delay in pulse() that snuck in somehow allowed hearthomatic to use some portals while still mounted allowed hearthomatic to process the some portals in certain states without waiting for the next pulse() improvements to _land() added dalaran portal exit path
I love it but something I noticed is, when I blacklist e.g. everything except troll he tries to get to another dig zone via portal.
blacklisting zones like that makes archaeology slower. the % increase in favorable digsites is far far far outweighed by the extra time taken by making the special trip ..... except perhaps for troll, and maybe nightelf. they make up more than 30% of the possible digsites, so perhaps it evens it out. i wouldn't be surprised if it still doesnt turn out economical tho, you should try timing it (without hearthomatic). but being able to blacklist zones like the twilight highlands makes sense to me, eg, you might have a weak character. so ill look at blacklisting when i get a chance. not even sure that I can read archaeologybuddy's settings to extract them. i think the digsite blacklisting will be problematic tho, as ill need to take into account that archaeologybuddy will ignore the blacklist if theres no option left but to go there
