I haven't had very much time at all to devote to the project, but I have started working on some additions lately. 1. E-mail alerts. If you leave your bot unattended while gathering you can get an e-mail alert after certain events occur (Follow DC, Target DC, etc..). Will only use gmail at first. This is entirely optional. 2. Stop the bot. I am working on forcing the bot to stop running, instead of just DCing WoW and terminating HonorBuddy. Also, tying E-Mail alerts in with this event as well.

Sorry for the long delay with my reply. Here goes... Maximum range varies. Since the Bot is reading memory, it really depends on how far out a person is first detected in memory (aka, by the WoW client), and if there are any limitations built into the object scanner within HonorBuddy. Short version is, like in your situation, if your client cant see them coming, neither can GatherSafe. My suggestion is to make sure you have set "do not ninja nodes" in the GatherBuddy settings, so interactions at nodes are avoided in this situation.

Hi there. Just started to levelling mining and herbalism on my new farmer. I have noticed a weird behaviour and possibly a bug. My settings are very high 120s for follow and 60s for targeted (maybe it will sound silly for some of you but what is a different between fallow and target ? - Does fallow means another player been within certain distance from me for X time and targeted when he actually targeted me ?) as I am levelling and just testing plugin. So I have no intention to come back here or use this route again in near future. Few times Bot just Dc-ed without any warnings. When I checked the logs I have noticed this: [22:34:08.419 N] [GatherSafe]: XXxxxx has been targeting you for -2147483648 seconds! - This does not look right. I started watching it closely and it happened again when I was diving to gather another herb and another player came from opposite direction. Wow dced again and same "-2147483648 seconds" appeared in logs. Anyone has any idea what it means and why it is happening ? Also how can you set it to 12s it is like an blink of an eye and it will dc your farmer. It is probably not the best place for this questions but what would be the safe but reasonable settings for not paranoid person ?
Hello I use Gathersafe with the plugin "rndbuddy" together. And I have the plugin Gathersafe set as described here in the forum. Only the problem is why my character builds from almost no herbs? And only flies in the air? Sometimes he builds from a few herbs. But that's not much Gathersafe is not good, more stucks with "rndbuddy" || When I run alone Gatherbuddy with rndbuddy, which works great. Can anyone help me?
updated from SVN today and noticed all files got removed so came here to check and see the first post is removed. did you decide to stop because of the warden update?

if you deleted it by updating you can right click the folder: tortoisesvn > update to revision > revision: 10 and click ok this should get the files back edit: this doesnt work anymore
Why was this removed? It was probably one of the best gathering plugins available thanks to actually posting messages in HB about avoiding nodes and players who were targeting/following you. Unfortunately this happened when I was doing a fresh install of HB so I lost the original GatherSafe folder. If development was an issue I'm sure there are others on here who would be happy to take over the project...
if ur not sure if this is allowed ... why do u share it? tbh ... if i'm not sure about something that maybe is not allowed, i wouldn't do it. u should remove it, the developer had for sure, a reason to remove it, else he wouldn't have deleted it from the forum

Yeah I'm not too happy that you decided to PM people on this thread with a link to it, too... could easily contain viruses or your own code to make toons send mats to you or something. Though you might've had good intentions, it's definitely better to be safe than sorry.
everything on the internet can contain nasty stuff. if you want you can scan it with something like https://www.virustotal.com/ or so. i only wanted to help the 2 ppl asking for this so i PMed them. but probably im just too good for this world and will stop helping ppl. i only had good intentions
No it doesn't - there's a password on the SVN link. So who knows what happened to Saik? His last post was from April .. Damn his plugin was pure gold !
