[Plugin][HB Updater] V1.0.1.0

Having ideas to add the Honorbuddy changelog to the application itself. Anyone has any other requests/ideas?

Nah this is just perfect... Maybe as someone posted before, add plugin updates. But I guess thats just a dream. I can not see this being done with the current way of releasing plugins.

 

I agree it would be a perfect addiction to the application, but it would be looots of work tho, and kind of impossible. Tho i will try to see what i can do.

Also, it should now update your honorbuddy to v2.0.0.3182.

 

Now updates properly again. If you updated to v2.0.0.3182 already, please open your HB folder and remove the folder called HB_2003182.

I run 3 copies of HB on my pc, so i have 3 seperate HB folders. When I run the HB updater in one folder and then move the exe to the next folder, and then again for the 3rd, they all update fine. i manualy delete the honorbuddy backup folder, because i dont need the backup... Then the next time i run the updater, it works correctly, but the backup folder, has a backup foolder in it, and one in it, and again, and again, after running the program a few times, it ends up with the same folders, copied in the same folders, like 7 trees deep, even if i delete them all they apear the next time i update. i'm runing windows 7 64 bit..

Another thing that came to mind.. i dont keep my executable named honorbuddy.exe, i make it something random, you give the option to select the file, but it only allows something named honorbuddy.exe, could you allow other names?

 

Updated to V1.0.1.0

Fixed, no need to have the file named honorbuddy.exe anymore, tho.. you'll still have to manually edit the file name after updating. (Will change this later)

Also, you can now disable the backup function.

 

Now also updates to Honorbuddy 2.0.3202.

 

Will now update to 2.0.0.3408.

 

Now updates to 2.0.0.3499

 

As i'm very busy with school and some irl-issues, i'm currently stopping to update the information the updater needs to download the new version.

If everyone else (A trusted & active forum user) would like to update the data everytime a new version comes out (i'll write a small app for you that'll make it easier), feel free to post it here. But i'm not pretty sure how much or IF this is even being used so..
