@zepenelope: It normally doesn't check the teleportation if the player is dead. Nevertheless, I will improve this detection given many people is experiencing this issue. @azghl: I think this previous statement is perfectly full of meaning. LogMeOut! can NOT unstuck you.
I understand this but there must be a way to add it in so that if logmeout has been triggered but has been inactive for x time it will dismount. Perhaps an option can be added so that if not logged out in x time then dismount, or just add it into the base code. Please do this as this is the biggest issue atm, getting stuck in trees or under fucking roofs. There is no plugin I have found that fixes this issue. Also potentially another idea, although not important since other plugins do it, rez at spirit healer if dead for x time. Getting stuck down the side of cliffs happens often. Another one, I love this plugin because it fixes a lot of issues like stuck in combat etc. But sometimes i would rather not actually disconnect from the game, rather just use the hearthstone and continue. Would it be possible to add this in? So basically an option that does not log out but still runs all the other processes.
This is it. You do not need a disconnecter in this case. LogMeOut! is a disconnecter, not a StuckHelper.
There isn't one though? Not one that I have seen that has all the features you have put in yours. As I say it isn't a big issue since I use a relogger also but it does mean that hb relogs which causes the login issues with max sessions etc. I suspect a lot of people use this for the same reason as me, your plugin fixes many issue with HB. Can you suggest a better plugin? Also isn't it still technically a bug that the plugin will not perform actions if the character is unable to reach ground to dismount?
My plugin is not a dirty catchall. It fills a clear goal and this won't change. Why not propose your idea to authors that make plugin for stuck help ? Anyway, there is an internal counter to be sure the player will be disconnected.
I will be honest, I am a little surprised by your reaction. You seem to have taken it as a personal insult that your plugin is being used for something other than disconnecting. Surely it should only be a compliment to your code that it can be adapted to suite other needs, that there is no other rival proves this. Regardless if you do not think much of my other suggestions would you be willing to consider adding in a simple dismount command before that internal counter?
Thanks for your honesty and I'm sorry you felt my statements like that, I didn't want to be nasty and I didn't felt "insulted" by your last statement. I tried to say that I didn't plan to add features that are not related to the disconnection. After all, the plugin is called LogMeOut! and is made only for disconnection purpose. I really like the concept of modularity and I think each plugin must focus a specific case. Your wish is directly related about stuck issue, so this is why I'm not going to implement it. Since LogMeOut! exists, I saw so many wishes not related about disconnection I maybe reject it rudely. I have to impose limits to my development to avoid my plugins lost their meaning (again, you are not the first to ask me extra features ) and who knows, if you propose you idea to authors of anti-stuck plugins, they would be more than happy to implement it.

If you do not set an Action before, LogMeOut! directly send a disconnection signal to the WoW client. Then, if you are in a sanctuary, the process is instant else you have to wait 20 seconds.
World of Warcraft doesn't allow you to be disconnected instantly. If you think to the option Force to disconnect available in the game, the player is still present in game during these 20 seconds.
Ok well regardless I'm still going to use your plugin, bugs and all. A question, why do you add the stuck in combat and inactive features if the plugin is only intended for disconnecting? Fixing those issues has nothing to do with needing to disconnect. Perhaps you should consider removing those features to better fit your philosophy of 'modularity'.
They represent two quantifiable triggers we can use for disconnecting purposes (thus, they are directly related to disconnection purposes). They do not attempt to fix these issues, people like the idea to be disconnected if their chars are stuck. Simply. I can perfectly you are not happy with my politic, but respect it. No. I am willing to bet 99% of users do not use this as a disconnecter but as a safety plugin. Arelog and HBrelog do a better job of controlling botting times. Your plugin is just good for reacting to in game situations (getting stuck, whispers, etc).
I use it as a safety plugin. I like setting stop on stuck really aggressively. It does a damn good job for my use. Sometimes I wish it would stop things earlier while fighting (force quit). However it's zens baby obviously. Thanks for providing it - you didn't have to share it.
