Botted on my farming account for 9 hour's straight (different battlenet and info), i then logged on my main account and thought fuck blizz so i started botting on my main, 15 min's later i get DC'd and both my farming and main account got suspended for the reason "Hack's" for 72 hour's
Never. I used to fish bot on my main, then decided to take my alt herb/ore onto a second account. Just as I decided to raid with him since I was sick of DPS and really loving healing, the last GB ban wave hit. I used to fish on my main but now not even that, not worth the risk. Playing it as safe as I can. So, now I'm levelling a new alt on a totally unrelated account, using guild bank, as many precautions as I can. (Same CC to pay for them, but I don't think Blizz would go that far to check, it mostly seems automated). By the way, how come so many have a 72 hour ban? My first account was an insta-perma in the first wave, I didn't even know Blizz even did just 72 hours, I can't see why there's a difference.
Yeah, I've been thinking about doing that actually mate. Where's the best place to get the codes online?
never i dont want to lose it as you dont know when mass bans come i dont even bot on the pc i play wow on
Its all about your IP address, so if your botting one account from same ip might as well bot on the other. I can't figure out when you say "safe" account unless your actually playing it from a different ip.
GB actually had a banwave, last oktober. GB was on a adress that LUAninja also used if I'm correct and thus GB got hit! OLE! but we are still kicking it hard!
True that!! Same with an hack i use for speedhacking.. bla to run all cross the map.. it's much more fun to run under the ground at 20x the normal speed =P Not to talk about hitting that alliance with my hunter... "WTF was that" hahaha
They can't be that absolute about it. There's plenty of situations where people might have the same IP but have nothing to do with each other. People could be botting from work, your roommate could be botting, and I'm sure college networks have a few people running bots. I think they only start associating bots via IP when it's a pretty large operation say 10 bots or more. That said, it's definately safer to bot off of a separate IP. I already bot on a separate computer, maybe I should look into some sort of proxy.... Too bad home cable modem connections don't support multiple IPs.
@ Mario. This is not true. Plenty of college campuses also show the same IP address used across a span of people. It's all about the Router, ISP, etc that it comes out of. If blizzard did bans on IP's they'd lose lots, and lots, and lots of accounts. They DO NOT banned on IP based specifics and this has been debated a million times.
i bot all the time on my warlock no point in sending gold from a botting acc, to ur main acc.. blizz will just track that down and ban them both.. take a chance, thats the only way to get gold now'a days..
I just spread gold to my accounts via my own guild bank with only my bots in. All the toons in guild are just low level bank alts who use the guild bank to deposit or withdraw/deposit a few items/gold to send or sell. And they are all my own accounts played off one computer and 1 ip. highly fishy? yes have i been banned ? no
