Worked with obsidium ore but he does nothing when using the elementium profile with a bag full of elementium. Honorbuddy just sits on "Hearth and exit" and does nothing. Why is this?
I tried running this overnight but when I came back I found that I had just been standing with my mailbox open for hours. It was stuck because I had one mail from the Auction house that was marked as unread but the Obsidium had already been retrieved from it. When I got back and realized it, I clicked on the unread mail and it immediately picked up the loop again.
I've uploaded a new version, fixed a couple of minor bugs etc. etc. Thanks for the Elementium versions, it really shows the power of this community. I'm aware of several bugs currently existing in, for example, the AFKing at the AH, retrieval of mail et cetera, but I don't think I can fix them in a clean and easy way. I'm still working on a full lua rewrite, but the time I can spent on it is limited, I'm afraid. If you have any requests for features you'd like to see implemented, please let me know and I'll see if I'm able to implement it.
I lol'd Why not share to spare other people the hassle? Thanks for the new version! Currently waiting for http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releas...-0-0-4354-discussion-thread-8.html#post263637 to be fixed because i have a otherwise fully functioning profile which buys and prospects Obsidium and Elementium ore, then check the AH prices and puts them on the AH if that would make more profite (until a certain amount is on the AH) and then proceed to cut the remaining gems and vendor them.
Would it be possible to make this kind of thing with inscription? Like when it buys stacks of herbs below a fixed price and then it would take it from the mail, then it will mill the herbs and will proceed making inks out of the pigments. Once the bags are full or when it runs out of pigments, the inks will be put into the bank and start all over again?
You can easily modify this profile to do that, it would probably take 15-30 mins depending on your skill with coding.
An exception should be made for Red and purple gems they are worth a lot more then 9g on the auction house or if you have an enchanter. An option to not cut/sell red and purple gems would be much appreciated. Edit: Looked at the code didn't seem that hard here is it whit out crafting red and pruple gems. This is UNTESTED so GoodLuck
just noticed on the newest release 27-3, the "if jewelcrafting.level > 430" should be "if jewelcrafting.level >=430" otherwise people who have just reached 430 wont be able to do it.
won't buy anything for me.. it would open the AH.. do nothing.. go to mail.. and try to retrieve.. anyway.. nice work
I have no clue how to use this. Can anyone help me how to use this? This is what I did, and it didn't do anything. Load profile in Grind Bot Mode enable Profession Buddy Start bot?
Thank you very much. It was the first time I used that plugin, and sorry about my nooby. The bot finally start, and let see how it goes.
Pretty much everything is already set up at decent parameters so it won't buy at a loss. It asks you a few basic questions at the start, just answer these and it'll do the rest automatically. In response to the other questions above, thanks for reporting the bugs, they'll be looked into. Options to cut / not cut certain colours of green gems will be definitely added in the major rewrite. There are already a few Inscription profiles up on this site at the moment, I might consider doing one myself once I've got the next version of the Ore profile ready & free of bugs. If it isn't buying at the AH, please make sure the ore price is below 50g, it currently won't warn you when the ore price is above the threshold, this is something I'll consider adding in the next version. Speaking of the next version, it's going to be completely event driven, so no more silly if conditionals, but the first action triggers the next. I'll also probably include a graphical settings menu, with the option to export the settings & use them in the profile for 1-click bot usage. I've written over 300 lines of lua last saturday, and I'm quite close to finishing the basic logic. I've got exams from the 4th until the 15th of april and because I highly doubt they'll influence my grades in any way, I'll probably dedicate those two weeks to some hardcore coding. All in all, if everything works along I'll have an early beta version available before friday.
So, out of curiosity what are you people doing with the high level gems from this? If my toon knows a high JC recipe will it cut it and vendor them too? Or do you just AH them?
I've just been saving them all up... I really have too many to post on my server's AH. I have 200+ of every type of blue gem.... Even if I cut them, I couldn't possibly get rid of that many in any quick amount of time. Basically I'm saving them in hopes that when 4.2 hits there will be a Transmute for 3x blue gem + 3x herb -->> 1x epic gem, similar to what there was in Wrath.
