I've been having an issue with PR today - it was working fine and then HB updated and now this: Compiler Error: c:\Users\Ash\Desktop\WOW\Routines\PureRotation\Managers\HealManager.cs(321,119) : error CS0121: The call is ambiguous between the following methods or properties: 'PureRotation.Helpers.PartyExtensions.IsMainTank(Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWPlayer)' and 'PureRotation.Helpers.PartyExtensions.IsMainTank(Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWPlayer)' Compiler Error: c:\Users\Ash\Desktop\WOW\Routines\PureRotation\Managers\HealManager.cs(326,117) : error CS0121: The call is ambiguous between the following methods or properties: 'PureRotation.Helpers.PartyExtensions.IsAssistTank(Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWPlayer)' and 'PureRotation.Helpers.PartyExtensions.IsAssistTank(Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWPlayer)' [Singular] Starting Singular v3.0.0.2967 [Singular] Installation: integrity verified for 3.0.0.2967 [Singular] Determining talent spec. [Singular] Current spec is Warlock Destruction [Singular] GCD check fix spell set to: Corruption [Singular] Initialization complete! Initialization complete. As you see, Singular loads, but it sucks for my destro-lock. I did a fresh install of HB and PR both - so, is it just me or is it because of HB's update?
See attachment for full log. View attachment 4152 2013-08-28 06.19.txt Thanks. Not that I think it will probably help much, it says the same thing as the basic and that's about it for PR. Wonder why it's just me then.
But I don't. See folder attachment. ETA: I just did another complete fresh install and now it works. Thanks for the help, I'm guessing I had some kind of bad file on my previous fresh install.
it still seems to be only casting when there are embers as a warlock in destruction spec. I thought this was fixed
will when i get back on game, but feel free to use the last 3 logs I posted about this same topic in the mean time.
Since it has been a while since an oracle update.....I will fill you guys in on what is going on. All classes I would venture to say are at 90% or above on completion. We are still trying to fix some resource usage issues and get it all tested out. Also trying to get all the appropriate settings figure in and what not. Get our default settings down and everything like that. I can also say that priest and monk healing is doing outstanding. Shaman and Pally are fat out ridiculous....I cannot speak for druid. Our druid tester is quiet lol. I would love to link you to world of logs and show you the rankings that I have gotten with my monk and priest I can tell you this there are more than 10 rankings that are top 100 for their class on various fights. Furthermore.....if you sweet talk Wulf He might come out with a beta release before 5.4 that will not be supported outside of the initial release but we will take bug reports and fix them accordingly. This is still all in his hands though as it is his baby....more so than Pure and CLU ever were. Hope you guys are still super anxious as I still am and I have been able to use it. Every day it gets better and better but you cannot release without perfection!
**Flutters eyes @ Wulf** ok its not sexy from a guy but hopefuly still funny. lol my druid healing fingers are getting really itchy to try this out.
I'm a little behind on the loop here, so I'm confused on what's happening with this CR. So I know the healing is being coded and what now What is this "Oracle" though? (sorry for my ignorance, just want to make sure I know what's going on xP )
PR2 is not going to heal. It will be a tank/dps routine. Oracle will take the place of healing in PR2. Oracle will be a pure healing routine, I believe. So, you will have PR2 to tank and dps, and Oracle will heal. If I'm incorrect on any of this, folks in this thread will correct me.
You are absolutely right zeldrak with release of 5.4 (maybe a lil bit earlier) i'll remove all Healing Speccs from PureRotation (no matter if Oracle is released at this point or not) Wulf did a complete rewrite of healing / targetting logic which is not compatible with PureRotation (and this is good!) Basic selfhealing will still be supported on some classes, but it is limited to selfhealing only. This said, we will remove all healing code (not only classes / speccs, but also everything related to healing) I'll start the rewrite for 5.4 within the next week I'll also remove 5.3 related stuff (support for roro trinket) and try to replace it with a more general way for supporting future trinkets / items of this type. A Lot of work which will be commited step by step (i already made a plan what to do first and so) andf will need some days for that, but i hope i'm ready with this when 5.4 hits the servers the first commites for that will be only code cleanups and removing obsolete code (LUA functions that aren't needed anymore, hacks / workarounds for stuff that wasn't working with HB api, but is working now!)
Well, not to burst your bubble, but you cannot release a perfect product either Software is never bug free or REALLY finished. But that's ok, we all know that. What I'm trying to say is, you can spend another few weeks or months on perfecting it, but when it's released you'll have a much larger test group. And they will encounter situations, mechanics, bugs not thought of by Wulf. Doesn't matter how long you keep on perfecting it, this will happen. So I'd say 90% on all classes is maybe the best you can do; let the community do the other 10%. As much as I'd like to think it, you guys will never reach 100% without the HB users themselves. To summerize: This is not meant to be negative towards Wulf or the other members of the test team; not at all! I appreciate all the work and effort, even without seeing Oracle at all. Just... don't be too maticulous about every line of code; you will find and get bug reports anyway
There are still major changes going on every day to class logic and performance enhancements. Trying to find the ideal settings for TPS, FPS, etc. to provide the best possible healing output while not impacting performance too much is difficult and requires a lot of rewriting every day. It is very close though. I have been #1 on heals for every raid I've done in the last 2 weeks unless there's another Oracle healer in it We're not kidding when we say Wulf is putting in hours every day with 3-4 updates rolling out per day.
