Refreshing the dots on buff you mean? I still need to add that, but it certainly doesn't mean that affliction isn't worth using pure for. Pure is still the strongest affliction rotation for HB. It does very good dps.
yes refreshing the dots on buff yeah, it does make a huge difference m8. if i let pure do it on test dummy i drop down around 85k if i do it on my own with reacting to buff procs ( trinkets etc) im getting a stable dps of 120k. affliction is all build around reacting to the procs try it out for yourself by manually refreshing your dots and you will be amazed
Neither of those pauses work for me not that id want to pause continuously, lazyraider does work but to laggy. Is there nothing that can be done so I can use this cr without pausing?.
dunno how you people do it, but for me, I've tried everything and can't get affliction to work at all, it hangs every 10 seconds or so, I need to manually start pressing skills cuz SB keeps getting the rotation stuck. log: View attachment 2308 2013-05-18 00.58.txt this is on target dummy, trying to do aoe rotation, had it earlier on jon'rokh aswell where it would only cast corruption and unstable affliction, nothing else., unfortunately no logs of that one, but just saying

restro druids not great but i need more gear, tanks are healing as much as i am. Also noticing the restro druid going into bear form to cast barkskin i think not sure but its deffently jumping into bear for a second or so, just looks odd.
sooo. just tested BM hunter after the new changes you guys made today. and sad to say, the readiness problem is exactly the same. as soon as you attack boss it pops readiness, stampede, rapid fire and lynx rush all one after the other. thus, wasting the 5 min CD of readiness. i made sure and cleared my compiled assemblies and settings too after the update today and before i started HB. also, something is now wrong with the rotation since update. i did only 41k single target damage. and im ilvl 487. the only thing i noticed was its no longer casting dire beast on CD. but there is definitely more than just that wrong. not sure what it is tho.
just tested the new implementation of Blade Flurry as combat rogue. sad to say, doesn't work. it only works when you have 2 or 3 (whichever number you designate) mobs AGGROED on you. it should be used when..in combat and 2 - 3 mobs are in melee range. is it possible to make it work that way instead? i just ran last stand on my combat rogue and it only cast one time the entire run because i accidentally caught aggro before the tank did on a group of 2+ mobs. (i set my number to 2) so i just casted it manually from there.
I just wanted to thank you guys for your druid fixes. Feral is no longer switching out of form randomly to cast healing touch And balance druid is improving a lot. Im not looking like a 48k dps idiot in 510 gear anymore =P
your log says something different Lynx Rush -> Bestial Wrath -> Rapid Fire -> Kill Command -> Readiness -> Bestial Wrath -> Lynx Rush -> Stampede -> Kill Command So readiness is working the right way for me ... Can you specify how it should work? atm it is this way Cast Readiness WHEN - Rapid Fire CD > 20 seconds AND - Bestial Wrath CD > 10 seconds AND - Kill Command ON CD AND - Tier 5 Talent ON CD (AMoC CD > 15 seconds or Blink Strike > 5 seconds or Lynx Rush > 15 seconds) All conditions were true in this case! and readiness was fired -> it did what the code said, and the code says what u wanted to have fire readiness AFTER all Cooldowns where used Any other conditions? i'm no hunter and i hope Treek will look over this thing, but if not ... i need the help of a Hunter (i'm sure we should wait until all the auras of the cooldowns faded from us and/or the target to fire readiness and put them up again for most possible maintaining ... but noone said so nothing else changed in the rotation
Changed affliction to refresh dots when a stat increasing aura is active (haste/mastery/spell power/intellect). The buff must give us more than 1000 of the attribute before accepting it needs to force refresh. I've tested this on my destro geared/gemmed/reforged char, and got these results.. After 10m Damage Refresh on procs version: 56.5k dps Don't refresh on procs (previous version): 55.1k dps Slight increase... Be good to see what experience others get with it !
I would improve this more: 1.) you should calcute the dmg of a dot when it's applied. 2.) You should calculate the dmg of a dot if i would apply it now. 3.) Compare the two values. If > threshhold: reapply. More complex: the higher the difference the earlier you want to refresh. Good?
Would be a nightmare to code. You'd have to build in the internal logic for all abilities you want to use the DoTTracker with to calculate the damage... I.e. corruption.. Corrupts the target, causing 1926 (+ 20% of SpellPower) Shadow damage over 18 sec. You'd then need to calculate mastery and haste ontop of that.. Then work out how many 'ticks' are left on the current cast, how many we'd loose, how much the current dot would apply with the difference between the 2... as nice as it would be, it's a huge undertaking for what would likely be a little gain....
