If you're horde and can run that console command and post it I can fix that so it will travel correctly out of horde garrison. I've run it numerous times out of alliance garrison with no problems. If it happens again, turn the log level to diagnostic and give me a log please. Will certainly take a look to improve it!

 

First off, Thank you for the awesome profile Vengent.

I've been at it for 40 hours and still haven't had a single spawn pop up I expected this though as I have the worst luck when it comes to these things. Has anyone been going longer than 40 hours camping this thing?

 

Not me, I don't like doing long term afk, 4-6 hours has been my max, but no luck for me either. Lately I run it and use group finder to check a dozen different servers, lots of people had luck with that, No joy so far.

 

found mine after 5 straight days of camping and missing out first portal that spawned due to previous profile being not able to interact with the portal (exceeded range)

Hi Vengent, first thanks you for the profile, it's awesome.

I've just a little problem. Is there a way to increase the chance for the jumping ( i'm using the "No Move" profile ).

I'm farming with my rogue, so i can jump every 10 seconds, no problem with that, but i've noticed few disconnections since i'm using this profile ( around one or two every hours ).

Is it me or what but ive been camping here in gorgrond for 3 days and no portal, hope it shows up soon or im giving up hahaha

 

Wanna to ask you guys. If would i want to camp another locations like talador or smv with profile without moving, will it run to spawned portal and click it if it will spawn on available distance? Or i shoud leave bot exactly on spawpoint and it will camp only that single one? Thanks.

 

What spawns is everyone having the most luck at? Ive camped frostwolf for 6 or 7 days and no luck at all.

 

Vengent, have you thought about having this switch zones to farm all of them? You could use something to possibly switch profiles and move to a new zone every x hours so it doesn't look like your camping the same spot/zone X amount of days...

Super easy to modify. Open the profile up in something like notepad++ or ultraedit, or even plain old notepad.

Look for this text JumpOrAscendStart(), that's what tells it to jump. Then shortly before it you should see a line like

HTML:

<If Condition="Chance(10.0)">

That 10.0 value is the chance for the action to occur, change to your fancy and save and reload profile.

 

It's certainly possible from what I've read of using CDATA tags and systime variable, but I've gone about as far as I'm going with the profile for now. I still haven't gotten the mount myself, but in a downcycle of boredom with wow. Everyone feel free to take and expand upon this profiles though, community wouldn't be what it was without sharing forward to learn and improve. I'm sure i'll be more active when wow peaks my interest again.

 

Why the role cant move always when I load and strat the 1.8.xml profile.The information is nothing too.I used QB.

 

Well ... I don't know why the first time didn't worked for me ( before your answer) , but i've redownloaded the profile and with the modification, works fine.

Could you provide some more context? where are you starting it from? horde or alliance? what exactly is it doing?

 

Im horde.I stay near one portal point in frostfire ridge.When I load the profile and start HB,the role stay there always.When I leave away the point,the role was not move to the point yet.

 

Is the profile only used one portal point?If I want to check three points,need 3 roles?
