I'm testing the beta right now... I believe it is fixed, but I've only been testing for ~5 minutes.

Unfortunately, still happens with the beta version - HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.7453.307.zip.

      Screenshot and log attached.

Thank you Ski. I was having the same issue and getting nowhere with the cache! The only thing that seemed to help was a complete pc restart. At least I know now what to do.

I will say this, despite it not being fixed in the beta, it does happen significantly less - and the beta is working much more smoothly for me. High hopes for the huge new revision that's coming soon.

From an end-user standpoint, it seems like an easy fix (dismount before talking to NPC, make sure you're facing it, etc) - but I'm sure there is much more going on behind the scenes.

indeed, and i hate telling people "ill ask a dev to check it" and not leave any kind of solution, but sometimes thats the case.

I adapted the old NoMoveDetector plugin to play an alert sound if it detects no movement for 3 minutes. Handy since I'm afk botting while I'm doing other things around the house and it will alert me when I need to go and move my character to pickup or turnin a quest. In case anyone wants to use it until it gets sorted out in the core, I've attached it here.

Credit goes to cls15 for the original plugin.

I actually further modified it to spin the character around 90 degrees when it detects a 3 minute idle - so far it's fixing 95% of the "running past the npc" issues :)

It's ghetto, but for now it works for me :p

      Hey guys,

maybe i got a new interesting point.
when it targets/untargets the quest npc and i manually right-click the npc it solve the problem itself.
walking away and let the bot turn back to the npc dont work for me. tried it in different ways and cases

dismounting, facing the npc, taking a few steps back, did not help i am afraid.

Hb has been updated today. Was it supposed to solve this issue? Because i'm afraid it did not. And sometimes, the toon gets stuck with an npc who has nothing to offer any more, because the quest has already been turned in..

The latter is a cache issue.

The latest releases have been a _lot_ better in regards to this issue. It still happens, but maybe a quarter of the time it used to.
