Nope right thread. Picks up a load of plaguelands quests and blacklists most of them due to insufficient info according to HB. Doesn't do the cauldrons and doesn't do Uther the lightbringer. Also bugs out in collecting the quest for finding Pamela.
Help me out here - copy paste the part of the profile where it picks up a quest, any quest, in the Pamela chain? I'm sure you are not imaging it but I'm equally sure I haven't added it.
Ive had this problem for a little bit, but it keeps getting looped while picking up the Quest Call to Arms in Arathi Highlands. It accepts the quest, and then keeps trying to accepts the quest again and it doesnt want to do anything else.
Just a thought/suggestion/$.02, but you may want to not do the quest Battle of Hillsbrad until 32+ or maybe not at all, with the current iteration of HB, and here's why I think this is so. There's a rare spawn in the same area as Captain Ironhill. She just ran right by the rare spawn, aggroing it, then proceeded to pull Captain Ironhill, which in turn pulled two other mobs (he always has at least 1 add next to him). Instant death. She ran back, I had to manually res since she would just move here, jump, move here, jump... so then she buffed, etc. and did the same exact thing again. This time she did the same thing with the move X, move Y, jump, then eventually ressed. I also got stuck in combat a couple of times, which wouldn't allow her to rest after a fight, so when she did get into combat, it was with half health/mana, as well (not the cause of the many deaths, just wastes lots of time, and looks bottish because she'll cast PW:S many times). While not an "official" log entry, you get the idea from this portion of the log: This place just has too many mobs for level 30, and they flee, pulling more. Again, just my $.02, but you may want to give this some thought.
I used this profile for 21-58. There are a few quests that it picks up and never does but overall its great! combine this with instance buddy and PvP and its golden. Thanks a ton Hawker!
I have moved it to level 31. I want people to be able to start the profile if they are already over level 31 so moving it to 32 is not so practical. I suggest you delete that quest for your priest. First post updated - thanks for the suggestion.
The Boulderfist Outpost area is just a disaster for me ("The Hammer May Fall" quest). Died 9 times in the short time I was away from it. Too many mobs, and too high of a chance of getting multiple adds. Once you are dead, it's a die, res, multiple mobs, die, etc. cycle, until you manually intervene. Also, since it's a cave, it has a lot of LOS issues. I'd recommend perhaps bumping this quest up to level 34 at a minimum, or perhaps just skip this quest entirely. Thank you.
Thanks for this great profile Hawker. I got 1 question though, if I want to have my 80 character do all of the quest's in this profile. Do I have to remove all of the subprofile tags and also remove the Min/max level tags. Would be great to do all the quest and get the reward money from it. Thanks in advance mate.
no, you still have to remove al least the min level values, or make them all 1 and 85 ( for min and max )
UHm.. i am a noob. I downloaded your profile but dont know where to put all the files. I tried to look @ guides but not getting smarter there . Can you explain where i need to put the files ?. I am new and want to try/test the profiels. I hope you can help me cheers
