We really need our own sub forum, allot of different topics in this awesome thread. Great response and efforts from Mastahg and the community. Hopefully we will see a sub-forum soon .

Also for anyone who like to use RaidBro in the Dungeons (Me!!!) uncheck "Automatically Face target" it allows me as a caster to move easier when i want to face away from mob and move. Instead of doing the herky jerky when the bot is spamming the spell rotation and forcing you to turn around. Also use the macro /facetarget to automatically face the target to start casting again.

I fixed it. The Apply() function is used for dots. When applying buffs you have to specify you want it to be cast on the player. Sorry about that.
Apply("Berserk", r => true, r => Core.Player),

What I would really love is to see the bot detect what the mob is casting, and being able to set the pally to stun the specific cast every time and call it UberTankBro!!! Hahaha, but if I'm a gambling man, I would say we would see crafting on the horizon. No real logic beside allowing the user to set rotation. The player would select the item to craft and set quantity. Setting the bot to enable/Use HQ materials is another story. But the fundamental would be all thats needed. The bot would read the rotation the player set up, and move along the chain when Skill is cast. Rinse and repeat at specified quantities.

 

So I just signed up to check this bot out and help with the Beta Testing of it. I have downloaded the .zip file containing everything, but I've never used HB or any bot before. Am I missing something because I don't see the key you need to put in to run this.

Can anyone check my profile and tell me why it wont use any of the buffs? Also is it possible for a gladiator/paladin profile to use say flash when certain amount of enemies are in range and within a certain mp percent?

for the example, the below code for marauder/warrior uses overpower when 2 or more enemies are in range and your tp is above 80 percent.

I'm on 8.1 and unfortunately it crashes the client as soon as you launch it.

 

How did you level? I thought the only way to level was doing FATEs, since grinding would probably take years

 

The apply function itself is used for dots. Unless you specify a target it will assume that you mean your current target selected. To apply buffs you need to specify that you want it to cast on a player.

For Flash it would be

If I'm not mistaken you'll also need to specify the target as yourself for skills that you can use without targets such as flash or circle of scorn.

Try using these for the buffs:

Cast("Invigorate", r => Core.Player.CurrentTPPercent > 60, r => Core.Player),

Cast("Fists of Earth", r => (Core.Player.ClassLevel >= 22) && (!Core.Player.HasAura("Fists of Earth")), r => Core.Player)

 

Is there any function to tell us that the enemy is currently casting a spell ? just so we can stun it when it is doing so

 

I'm curious about this as well. I was under the impression that the FFXIV bots available were more suited for farming materials and leveling gathering/crafting classes, not so much with combat classes.

 

The combat is exquisite, especially with some of the community contribution and custom rotations that have been posted. I usually make a grind profile for non aggressive mobs with the addition of avoiding fates. It is a slow grind , but its the only way to get you Chocobo to level 10 so you can get some of those badass barding for them . I have left my bot for days at a time, while moving to different area ever so often. I have already leveled one class to 50 one to 40 and everything else to 30 with this bot. This bot is immensely impressive for the combat grind to level, try it for yourself.
