In current stable release the bot does not open tribal chests, even though the chest is check-marked in the settings chest list. As I haven't tried the beta version, I don't know if it has been fixed yet. So I decided to post it here. Looking forward to the next stable
We're hoping to have at least a new Beta build out with all the new changes, today. We're fairly confident we've solved the flagging issues, and all the changes required to make that work have been done successfully. Just a note, there are a few caveats with the new bot that users will have to ensure they do before any botting. (Just a couple settings really) The bot should work almost as well as it did before. But, we need people to confirm (besides ourselves, we've gone through about 20 accounts each trying to get it flagged, and haven't been able to) that it's completely solved. We also need bug feedback! That said; stay tuned. We're coming back shortly.
Zone changing is handled automatically (where possible) by simply setting the area you wish to bot in. In most cases, the bot should be able to make its way through the preceding areas into the grind zone you want. There are some exceptions, and limitations currently though. For example, if the area requires a quest to get into, the bot cannot do that for you.
Ah ok thanks for clearing that up. Is there any plan to add switching zones for farming. So the bot switches between x amount of zones?
Yes, but it requires a different bot base. When the current bot was written way back when, it was assumed it'd just grind in areas with waypoints. There were not going to be support for profiles either. The game has changed a lot since it was started and only botting areas with waypoints is not enough. We've been trying to patch in features for other things, but due to the way the game works, we need to rewrite the bot base to support a whole different set of features to let people control things like that, botting time, and so on. So, it's in the future plans for sure.
For small patches like this, if they come out when we're around, it's typically a few hours to update things and check them out. Beta is up right now, and will be tested for a day by beta users to make sure nothing terrible broke. If everything seems 'fine', a Release is built usually a day later, as it includes all the beta changes made from the last built version.
