Unless I'm mistaken, the reason HB goes down during a patch isn't really because it isn't safe, but because they need to change offsets so that HB will actually hook into WoW. If the patch is small enough, then offsets don't need to be changed. Easiest way you can tell is if HB actually works when you log in. There isn't any need to not use it if Blizzard patches. Either it will work, or it won't.

 

I wasn't asking if it worked or not, I know it will. HB only stops working on bigger patches.

I was asking if they took a look at the code, for the small patch, to see if there was any hidden detection. Blizzard has thrown sneaky pieces of detection code in patches before. Was just wondering if someone had at least looked at it.

 

my bots are going afk. when auto relogger logs them back in the "start" button is not pushed. i get a error saying "You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!

is it possible to bot on an newer instance of wow? im sure it's not officialy supportet but is there a workaround so i dont get an error everytime wow gets an little patch?

The above 3 post were related to a quick auth server DC this morning, you should of been able to log right back in, I had the same issues but was able to log back in after a min or two (does require the bot to be restarted else you get the version error)

 

Couldn't find any tutorial how to use it. How do i setup what he shall sell? Played arround and drag and droped the "Sell item To AH" Action but it is like he ignores whatever i setup there.


To be honest...compared to eAuction this is a disappointing step back.

 

Even blizzard is faster on their bugfixes....

Tested with other toons other levels other profiles my char wont go anywhere...

tried a fresh install of HB no dice.

 

figured out that if they have flying mounts its not a problem. ground mount mode isnt an option i guess buying a flying mount fixes my problem on both those toons though...

Questing Bugs:

IsQuestCompleted() - Only works if quest is in log, unlike before when it was global (might be wrong on this maybe it was just one quest)
Me.HasAura as stated on the wiki using names, although i also tried by id wont compute or return true respectively

I normally run on 64 bit and Directx11 but i have disabled 64 bit in launcher and changed it to directx9 ...

this is my first time trying to bot with 64 bit installed, that might be why? do you guys reckon i have to reinstall wow and stop running 64 bit to be able to bot?

 

^this. Happens all the time with ArchaeologyBuddy and Bgbuddy causing me to sit there and get kicked. I've changed the mesh folder plenty of times.

 

I'm getting weird error with pally in Northrend. HB keeps stopping itself, or doesn't start at all, saying tilemap is null. Also I've sterted getting "couldn't generate path" in Vysheere. All plug-ins are off.
