[Reputation][Grind Profile] Sha'tari Skyguard - Rep Grind

- What exactly did you change? I'm having the same looting problems. I've done a clean install of HB as well as use a CC and the one it comes with and I still have the same problems. Any ideas?

 

I would love to make you Mag'har reputation profile but unfortunately I dont have a Horde toon, i guess I will have to level one next after the latest batch of toons im levelling atm.
So prolly 3 weeks away till I will get to do it for you.

 

Elixir of Shadows

Anyway to add a simple pluggin that will use an elixir of shadows every 20 minutes? I ran this last night and have 80 elixir of shadow now and by using them it opens up a TON more mobs to kill. Also it allows picking up the scrolls or whatever they are.

 

Yes I agree that would be nice, but unfortunately im not a plugin programmer. You could always request it in the plugin forum.

 

does not work. verrry buggy. sure it moves around, but it tries to walk up hills that i cant walk up, i ended up getting stuck after 2 mins of having it on

it has trouble looting half the time

not comfortable leaving this alone for more than 2 mins

I agree, not comfortable. I get the same looting issue as well. He just stands there. This is not a CC issue, it seems to be a pathing issue. Mainly because i had no problems with any other profile until now.

 

I am going to create a profile for sha'tari skyguard and see if it is the meshes or this profile specifically.

 

yeah, having same problem here. Manually moving the toon just a bit seems to fix it, also decreasing lootradius to 10 seemed to fix 50% of the problem for me. Dont know if this is imaginary thou, but feels like it got better. Almost looks like HB got 2 things to do at the same time and it gets confused which to do first.

 

I tried this out and it works great on two different WoW installs. I am currently halfway through Revered (I do keep clicking the elixir of shadows for the buff manually every 20 minutes).

I never had any pathing issue once I enabled click-to-move (though that's mostly a requirement on HB itself).

 

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong with this, but the path only picks up a few mobs and the majority is skipped.
Is there a better path?

 

I cobbled together a small plugin that uses Elixir of Shadows every 20 minutes (10 seconds from current running out). Used sample code from Dungeonbuddy and AutoAngler as how to do what was required, as I've used both of those and the scenario was similar.

If you haven't any Elixir's of Shadows but have enough Shadow Dust for the quest More Shadow Dust it will go and hand in the dust and collect as many Elixirs of Shadow as it can, then resume using them and farming. It assumes you are eligible for the quest More Shadow Dust.

It works as much as I could test it for the last few hours, constructive feedback is welcome if you'd like to try it.

Anybody used this recently, I'm around 70 and I'm keen to use it to both level and grin the rep out (first time with skyguard).

Can somebody give me a heads up as to whether it's working etc and whether it would be suitable.

I'm halfway to revered 6000/12000 Honored.

I'm curious how long estimatedly would it take to hit exalted? I'm currently farming volatile air and I want to know if its worth changing for a bit.

 

going to run this on a 85 druid with full cata heroics.. how long do you think it will take to get exalted?

 

Anyone getting stuck sometimes when u aggro while looting? Just stands there...

 

can this do instance buddy and grind at same time? i tried it but when it joins the instance just teliports me back out
