[PAID] Salvation - Richie's Discipline Priest PvP Combat Routine [Pro Edition]

I made a Holy PQR profile a few weeks back because i was board. I wouldnt say holy is bad because i was playing 2200+ mmr in 3s with it no problem but its very comp base, Where as disc you can play with almost anything and do fine.

We had some work to do on the house that took some time. Also my wife realized, that it's fun spending her days in the living room where I'm working and it's hard to work while someone is watching movies in the same room. ><

The Affliction CR is released now so I can focus on adding this dispelling feature to both the shadow and the disc CRs. If it works out I may add it to the Lock CR as well to make the Felhunter/Observer eat those buffs. It would be fun.

1 (I hope) simple question/remark.

The "random" purify. It purifies all kinds of "stupid stuff" that you don't want. Would it be possible to either have a GUI option or an XML or LUA file edit to whitelist or blacklist (however you wanna approuch it) so that you could let the users "chose" what the bot dispells ?

Basicly there are some spells you wanna dispell and there are MANY you don't.
At higher ratings for example when facing a mage, you wanna dispell (purify) DEEP FREEZE only, you wanna save that purify cooldown for the deep freezes.
Also good mages will do 2 poly's. 1st one is actually a fake poly (although it lands) they will repoly 1 sec later hoping you insta dispell the first poly so purify is on CD.

Especially the deepfreeze is a killer when purify is on CD because of random dispells.

Hope something like this is possible, since it's basicly the ONLY thing I can think off that is really missing in the CR if you look at it from a "smart" pvp stance.

thanks for your post, i just discovered this thread and was looking for a nice disc priest pvp CR, the only question i had how smart is the dispel
seems like there is some improvement to make?
i will test it at home tonight, and will donate if its as good as i think, but for PVP the dispel is mostly > all

i only want to dispel HARD cc?s, so only sheeps fear etc. that are longer then >3 seconds..dont want to dispel a 2 sec fear, and dont want to dispel dots when all members have >50% hp
so, my 2 questions

1. how is the dispel logic now?
can u adjust it to only dispel long cc?s and dispel members with dots with low hp

2. does it sd polymoprh cast when i have the glyph ?

It's only dispelling thrash debuffs when everyone is above 80% hp(IIRC).

I can add an option to disable the dispelling of these low priority debuffs and will find out something to let you edit the "Dispel ASAP" list.

The problem is that if I let you edit anything that is on SVN it's possible that the SVN client won't be clever enough to be able to merge my changes with yours.

 

It dispels CCs with high priority, and low prio debuffs if noone is seriously injured, so it won't "waste" a GCD on it instead of healing.

1, There are no options for Dispel right now, but I can add if needed.

how does the dmg logic work? can u add an hotkey for dmg? sw, holy fire and spam smite? so i can support my dps when someone of the opponents are in cc regardless of our hp if i want to?

About that SVN problem.

Well I think it's very simple.
You just make it so you have a default config of however you think you wanna do it.
If people wanna change it to suit their needs, then they have todo it everytime they update the SVN.

I'm cool with that, all I want is to be able to only dispel certain spells ASAP (even if I have to manually change a file after every SVN update thats fine by me ), like DEEP FREEZE. Stuff like living bomb, or some sort of other low prio debuff doesn't concern me.

At high rating someone can be on 85% at one time and then the CR dispells low prio, and then 1 nano second later (read elemental shaman that can kill people under 1 global) your target is in a deep freeze and purify is on CD.

At this moment you can only setup when should it automatically help in dps.

You can setup a hp% and when the whole team is above this percent, it heals by doing damage(Atonement)
The bot also automatically attacks ppl who are below 20%
Also kills totems that have only 5hp with holy fire

At this moment there's no way for overriding the above setups and forcing the bot into DPS mode. May think about how to add it. In the meanwhile, target that bastard and nuke it yourself. (if we can refer to disc priest's damage as "nuking")

I'm playing with my own CRs and I don't like using CRs that are bad.

Basically that's why it takes so much time for me to release a CR. I'm spending more time on testing than on the coding itself.

You can't.

It's such a rare scenario, that I didn't really think that anyone would need something like this. If you want your team to win you can't let people die at your foot.

 

How's mana management for everyone? Is it me the only one getting 'a little' bit too early oom?

 

If you have crap gear then you will go oom because your heals don't heal for as much and you end up using more mana to heal. Mana management says nothing about how good the cr is itself.
