ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

Loving this so far for my Shaman. My only question is I am leveling enhance, my shaman always cast lightning bolt 1 or 2 times before actually meleeing. Intended? Or is there an option to change this? I tried searching and reading the first post but I couldn't find anything. And I could not see anything under the options.

Nvm I changed pull type to fast and it no longer cast it.

can u make a Option for Deep Corruption(Click) like in the HazzDruid CC?

 

Speechlezz, Currently the only option is to heal that encounter manually. Support for raid encounter specific logic is not added to the CC as it fits best within either the Bot or a plug-in. Some do add support for these elements and I may in the future if that is the only viable option. Thanks for the post, Bobby53

Speechlezz, Please do not post any code in this forum. A specific description of the behavior desired is more useful and more likely to be incorporated. As for support for that debuff, in general the CC is not the best place for encounter specific behavior. However, support for that specific heroic boss has been requested several times so I will give it further consideration for inclusion in an upcoming release.

Great CC man love it thanks for contributing your time into this i and the community really appreciate it. ahh i just wonder in the PVP tab when using healing over combat , how does it work? because from the name it sounds like it will heal when needed and the rest is combat , but for me all it does is heal it doesn't go in combat only heals...

Note : if it helps i was in arena never tried anything other than it because the account is not mine..
and second the shammy was a healer but sometimes we bump into weak parties thats the reason i want it to attack.

 

Yes, that's exactly what Healing Over Combat is intended to do. If any member of your party (including self) falls below the top Health % specified in the PVP column of the Group Healing tab, it will interrupt any DPS cast in progress and cast the appropriate Heal spell. Otherwise if current DPS target exists, it will cast Damage spells. If you are not seeing that, most likely you haven't targeted an enemy player. For support on this or any ShamWOW behavior you have a question about or suspect is not working appropriately, you will need to visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] and follow the steps for posting. It is a complex environment with regard to the number of factors that affect what decisions made so that detail is required for me to research on any members behalf. Oh and i tried the CC with BGbuddy and it worked fine, it just wont work with instance buddy

ShamWOW has supported InstanceBuddy at all levels since InstanceBuddy was released, so it appears you are encountering a problem specific to your installation. I'm not having a lot of success using the priest CCs, I'm back to Bobby's God Class of Shamans Shamwow. I've leveled so many toons with this, I keep saying thank you. Since I've come back to the game and fired up HB again I'm back at to Shamwow it just keeps getting better. Thank you again Bobby.

 

The thing is that i die because hes so busy healing other players, i just want him to heal and only focus on me when I am around 15 other friendly players.

 

trichomer, I believe I understand what you are asking for. I was asking why you want it. When is that a good strategy? Using your example, if you are near 15 friendly players that are taking damage and you are taking none, the healer would stand around healing nobody. So to be clear, I'm not asking what you want. I am asking at what point in the battleground would it make sense to let 15 friendly players die while you require no healing. I will do it, but before spending the time I'd like to know why. Bobby53, i think i know what he want.. example: alterac valley boss.. and you are healer.. and you need heal tank.. if you heal party or raid, you dont have time to heal tank(boss do lots of damage).. because cc heal all people around us.. and tank die.. so.. all people think is healer fault.. it happens to me sometimes.. but if we choose raid options - and choose tank.. or focus, does not work?

 

megabbyte, Thanks for the post. That is a valid PVP circumstance where you want to prioritize the tank over any other player. However my impression was the request was for healbotting a single player throughout the battleground. So consider the same circumstance, where the healbot and the lead player it is following are at the boss fight, but the leader is not actively tanking the boss. In this case the "real tank" is taking a lot of damage but receiving no heals from the healbot.

The option you are referring to is Raid Healing Strategy which is on the Group Healing tab. No, as the name implies that option applies only to Raids. It has no effect in a Party or during PVP.

I will look at an option for PVP which allows you to prioritize healing the healer and then the tank over any other player. In other words, if their health is below a certain percentage, they get healed regardless of anyone elses health %. This option would affect only those using LazyRaider for PVP since otherwise no tank is defined. Additionally, the option will be off by default.

I want a personal Healing bot on me 100% that does not get interrupted in healing and somtimes i run away from him when hes healing somone. I play my main and i don't stand around not taking damage. I usually die when i jump in and try to dps down there healer because hes busy healing other players doing a bad job dpsing down some tank getting healed.. When i run around in a battleground i usually am the one tanking so i want a option i can sett that he will focus mainly on the selected tank. Sorry but i cant explain this much better, i love your bot and i just want my personal healer to be more imba and focus on me because i don't rly care if the other players in the raid dies because there not getting heals from my bot..

I just hope you can make it so the option Raid Healing Strategy setting will work in battlegrounds.

is it possible to in pvp always set own shield to earthshield. i know this has been up but i dont figure out how to set the shields?

Is there any way to buff water breathing for PvE purposes?

I can see the bot getting pretty low on Breath sometimes while running Questbot.

 

Flamtongue Spam?

1st - absolutely love the bot.

I'm running resto and seeing some VERY odd behavior. When there is little to do it often spams Flametongue Totem instead of Lightning Bolt.

nesporin, Good point. Next release will include an option (on by default) to cast Water Breathing when it detects you are swimming, not in combat, and able to cast (meaning you have glyph or shiny fish scales as well as needed mana.) Thanks for the post, Bobby53
