I play a 2-Hand Unholy DK. And PvE works great. But on PvP (AB) it will not target or attack the enemies.
Not sure why but tonight my DK has been acting wierd. I'm running him in mixed mode Arch/BG bot. When he gets attacked while doing Arch he just stands there. Ive seen him just stand there and Ive seen him just jump none stop. The mobs are low lvl so I dont die from them. He wasnt doing this yesterday and I havent changed anything. Any ideas? Looks like an HB bug. Try running the bot in normal Archeology mode (Not mixed) and see if it still happens.
I ran in norm Arch mode overnight. Came back to 1 solved artifact and my DK jumping while being attacked by a low level mob. It ran for abut 7.5 hours. My hunter and priest are also not acting the same way they were 2 days ago. I'll try a fresh install and see if it helps. Update - Reinstalled everything and so far its running fine. Maybe something got corrupted somehow.
seems to me that esp in pvp this cc gets much less dps andd has much slower reaction time compared to simpledk i fixed my own obliterate issue and i watch the meters and bg performans and with the all in one i gett about 23% less dps pve and 35-40% less overall performance in pvp
I think that this issue comes with the Stop and go "bug" in PvP. I wrote about this some posts back. Seems like it cant keep up when the target runs of to another hotspot.
Logs. Just did a 5 minute test on the dummies in Stormwind showing less than 5% difference in DPS from SimpleDK to SimpleCC.
since we liketo quote ej here A: What you do on a training dummy is irrelevant, not only is your sample data far too small to rule out RNG, you're also missing lots of buffs/target debuffs that will change the way certain talents perform. also why post a log its cc performance that is the issue but i will post them when i pvp tonight
The log will show if it is spamming some ability or not using another. And yes testing with the dummy is not perfect, but to benchmark them against each other you would have to run the same dungeon/heroic twice with the same people doing the same things. Nevertheless I'll try them both in some BGs tonight if I get the time and see if one is better than the other. Edit: There's something wrong with PvP in HB at the moment, it will try to run the profile even when it is in combat, resulting in the bot walking away from enemies trying to mount up. Nothing I can do about it.
Not sure what is causing this issue, but tried to use this in an instance today on my 85 DK and his DPS was only around 5.5 to a max of 6K it seemed like its decision on casts and such was slow making it not really attack much. I restarted the bot and went back to SimpleDK 0.997 and saw DPS jump up to where I had expected around 11k. As when watching the log with SimpleDK abilities seem to be being casted a lot faster. Also, the new IB has the option to disable all movement which is now supposed to also disable CC movement, to make it easier to manually move char around for certain fights, but it seems SimpleDK isnt allowing this, I was unable to move my char hardly at all once in Combat to get out of AOEs and such. Raphus said it may be if the CC is using WoWMovement.ClickToMove as IB is only set to kill Navigator.MoveTo Thanks for any help you can give me with this, wanting to start running my DK on some heroics and such to get him geared up.
As for the DPS issue, I'll have a look at that. Movement in both CCs use Navigator.MoveTo(), so if IB is killing that, it's not working. But you can disable movement by setting "public const bool DisableAllMovement = true;" in Settings.cs, although this will disable movement outside instances as well.
Cool, thanks for the update, that is good to know just for certain instances that you really need to be able to move the bot yourself out of AoEs or you die and look silly. I will have to make an edited and non Edited version I think for the different things I want to do.
thing is my DK usually reacts slow with this cc what im doing now is just babysit and during instances etc i help the bot out by spamming certain skills when they are needed although it would be awesome if he would jsut do his skills faster both with all tree's ( tried bloof frost and unholy )
testing it with a lvl 25 warrior, right now so far i can say, don?t try it with a fury, because it?s using the spells very slow and doesn?t face right. maybe it has to do with the berserker stance it cannot switch in ... (lvl30) so i have to play in arms spec, it all seems work right, exept the facing... ihope you find the reason in the log i hope i can lvl fury when i hit lvl 30
Nice first CC that is decent for dk's there are still some room for improvement but im glad I finally found something that I don't get frustrated watching! Thank you for this!
Grab 0.4.5, should work better in general. And a little tip for those complaining about DK PvP: Get Spell Penetration up to 195 as per DK Basics - Arena Junkies
