Since HB is detectable, what is happening on HB's end?

Why would someone be fanboying HB if they don't even own a copy of the software?

Can't stand these 4-5 people that are commenting everyones post in where people are being sceptical or even posting critique, like they know everything where they have zero facts to backup their claims. Everyone is just throwing theories from both sides.
I stopped using HB some months back as I feel like a lot of people here that it hasn't been more unsafe to bot then right now.
Three big ban occasions in less then one year and HB devs admitting for the first time they screwed up. No wonder why many users are pissed.

Btw you never answered the question so I'm guessing you just trolling for popularity.

its proved already tripwire prevented many people from being banned. anyone who denies this fact is a troll

 

lol then why there are other people that get banned evry few days including me and no im not doing anything wrong or using exploit other hacks just by honorbuddy and questing when ever i touch this software within a few days my account is suspended when i play clean not your facts are not right blizz maybe not ban your account to think your safe but they can ban you anymoment

if you really get banned that often its because you dont know how to bot safe you probably use BG Buddy for 24 hours unsupervised

 

The BOT itself is not detectable, however the actions taken during botting are still detectable. At least that's how I understand it.

Remember guys, every action taken during botting is readable by Blizzard. Not to mention other players. I have recently taken up tanking again in dungeons (running enyo) and the amount of obvious bots that show up is astounding. Maybe it is because I have seen first hand how they work and thus can pick up on the differences, but I'd wager every dollar I have that the reason accounts are getting banned now is not because "Blizz can see the bot on your computer", but because of user reports or obvious server side behaviour pattern recognition, both of which HB cannot protect you against.

It is easy to point the finger when we don't know what is going on (hello witch hunts), but it is time to accept that the ban waves were due to a fuck up on HB's part, which they promise is now rectified. So future bans are NOT down to "Blizz found HB in my WoW".

I think you are going about the question wrong for this forum, as there will be a ton of hate toward the OP and little no response from anyone associated with the dev team. Is it detectable in it's current state, is like saying will my car get a flat tire tomorrow. Sure it has air and works now so yea you are fine, but tomorrow it could very well go flat for all I know.

What you should be asking is more technical questions if you don't already know them. Let me help you with a few and you can go google your heart out

1. Is the 32 bit client causing detection and ban waves? Yes, but not in a literally sense. It's only aiding in the code changes being sent out /turned on during a detection attempt. So therefore sure in layman terms yeah it's not so good now.
2. Is HB detectable? It "can" be at anytime, regardless of whoever says otherwise lol. It's a simple technical argument that most people either don't have the mental knowledge to be discussing or don't want to release said info due to associations and such. Does this mean it's not worth botting? Yes/No because botting is simple cat/mouse tactics as it always has been lol. It's literally up to YOU to decide.
3. When will we get an "undetectable" version? Right after never. See reasons 1-2 for clarification.

I think the 'casual' people who come here think in a more basic way so when they get banned, it turns into "your product is detectable and I want a refund", or "It's your fault HB devs blah blah blah". No it's the fault of the person clicking that launch button when they fire the bot up. If you don't have the knowledge to keep your system locked down, do pre tests, check updates of actual file changes, check with specific devs (not hb devs) regarding patches and so forth. Then no you probably shouldn't be placing blame on anyone but yourself.

A lot of us have been here since the beginning and this is pretty common stuff now when dealing with even basic botting.

well son, go use a new email, make a new forums acount and you too can be one of the "new" people. Why do people assume that just because the forum account is new, that means that they must be new to HB as well? You can buy HB without having to sign up for the forums.....

Agreed; there are a decent number of people who have been botting since Glider and Pirox. The rabble is too skrong.
