Part of botting is knowing how to take care of stuff yourself. If you cant fix something as simple as LoS issues, you're in for a rough time farming the rest of your stuff. Its best that you play around and learn things on your own. Why dont you try it out for yourself? Lower it until it works. Each person has a different scenario. Im a caster too (spriest) but I just lowered it one yard at a time until it worked. I dont remember the numbers but just play around. (Each time you lower it, make sure you backtrack your bot about 20 yards so it will reapproach the mob along the waypoint path.)
Line of Sight, should be handled within your toons CustomClass, i would say. Im having no problems with convalesce anymore, since we reduced the timeout for los t?roubles.
