Dedicated heal tabs will look like this: View attachment 4101 The Tank will have specific spells which are checked before other party members. Healing could not be simpler. You select the (%) of healh and the spell you want to cast. Spells are prioritized from top to bottom. You can have the same spell cast at different health % if you want. AoE healing is just as simple. You select the number of party / raid members (count) and the health % and the spell. Eg... if 3 party / raid members are below 80% it will cast the AoE spell. There will be extra settings for the Pally and Shaman. Eg... to cast Judgement of Light and Drop Totems etc.
That looks superb. Now just cant wait to test I wish I had your coding skills. How long have you been coding and where did you learn?
Now I'm curious to try this in an instance! haha It'd be a neat challenge to fine tune the percentages, so they are optimized for instance runs. It's only a matter of time before someone takes the next step, just hoping it's a public one Looks nice as hell, man. I wish you success!
What do you mean "the next step"? I've been running my own all bot heroics for months. Healer and DPS are HB while I tank.
Hammer of Justice before healing? Consecration in normal rotation or just on adds pull? Exorcism above ___% health of mob. All I can really think of at the moment.
Hey, maybe I'm off base here... I just look to a future where we can bot instances, to keep us away from prying eyes (and more importantly, player reports). I think I'm gonna give a go to doing a tank on my main, and a HB on my botting account. Maybe that'll be an interesting way to prepare for, and head into Cataclysm.

Here is a new feature that will be added in time. 'Smart Settings'. View attachment 4105 From the drop down list you select: ... mobs orange / red level ... mobs the same level as you ... mobs green level ... mobs grey level ... RAF Follower / Leader It will automatically select and remove spells most appropriate for the level of mobs you are fighting. There is no point using your full range of spells on a 'green' level mob when just a few basic spells will work. And when fightning Orange / Red mobs you want to use all your spells and keep your healing up. This option will allow you to quickly and efficently adjust your settings.
Very nice! So if you are making UIs for al lthis stuff, does this mean the coding phase is through? Or are you going class by class or just doing as you please? lol. Also for Paladin healing / non healing... Avenging Wrath/Divine Protection/Divine Shield/Lay on Hands option would be nice. EDIT: and Cleanse / Purify? That could probably be hardcoded on though. Righteous Fury? Use Divine Please? Repentance on ADDS would be really cool too, although you may wanna make that automatically negate consecration / divine storm whether they are checked or not. OR if you really wanna make it badass put a 10 yard range check on the Repentanced mob and if within 10 yards have it move back and continue to use divine storm / cons. Although this may just be too much work for it to be worth it.
Most of the coding was done before the UIs. I've still got Warrior and DK coding to add - not very hard. It actually takes longer to hook-in the UI than it does to do the coding. Can you give me an example of how and when you would use those spells. I know how I would use them, but I could be doing it all wrong
Certainly Cleanse spell=4987 / Purify spell=1152 Pretty much Cleanse is an upgraded version of Purify. They are both anti debuff spells (like poisons and magic debuffs). So whenever you have a debuff it should try and use Cleanse to get rid of it. Righteous_Fury spell=25780 Would be useful for tanking, although if specced Improved RF in Prot tree then it also gives a nice 6% dmg reduction. Probably not a necessity to implement this one. Divine Plea spell=54428 Give an option to use Divine Please (if checked) and at ___%. This is a mana regen spell pretty much. I like having my Ret use it at around 15%. Repentance spell=66008 Maybe give a check option and then an option for on how many mobs pulled? Again this one may not be a necessity. On a second thought - If you need to heal with 2+ mobs, maybe have your char target the add, cast Repentance, have character target main target, cast Hammer of Justice, then cast heal! /drool --- If there's anything else you need help with, I'm ready and willing to lend a hand.
Cleanse and Purify are already added. Righteous Fury probably won't be added because if you're tanking you won't be botting it, and the last thing you want is your DPS is more aggro. Divine Plea - done. Repentance - done. Its easy enough to move 10 yards away from a mob if its stunned. And its easy enough to use Repentance and Hammer of Justice on 2 seperate mobs before healing, but ultimately by the time you do that you've lost more health than you would gain.
The Pally UI has had a few more settings added. The most notable new feature is 'Smart Seals'. This will attempt to automatically choose the best seal for the occasion. Seal of Light when you get adds and your health isan't looking so good. Seal of Wisdom when your mana is getting low. Seal of Justice on runners (before the start running) and casters. There are a lot more spells that have the option of casting when available or saving them for when you have adds. View attachment 4112
I'm working as fast as I can, I promise Its coming as soon as I'm happy with it. There are just a few things I'm not happy with and I'd rather not release it until its stable and I'm happy with it. The closed beta test should be underway this weekend - all going well.
