Pretty clear PVE Pally healing beats MW monks at this stage, Bot or not.. Its just the nerf that monks got just befor xmas 33% mana increase on just about everything. There are some fights that destroy pallys though.. Like HM garalon.
That nerf was just fine,i am 504ilvl and have no problems with mana or whatsoever, not to mention that with the settings i did we basicly 2 heal most hc fights with our disc priest.I mean the incoming nerfs in 5.2.There will be the huge problem because it goes opposite on my current playstyle.Have to go through all the testing, tuning whatsoever. And on the other hand pala community is much bigger than monks on tuanha's cc.Will see though.
The nerf wasnt just fine.. And yes im 505 MM monk heaing 15/16HM ATM.. We can not heal large single player incoming dmg.. with out loosing a huge chunch of mana... Making us very bad healers at tank healing.... You may think thats not a issue.. But during progression Sha it is a huge issue.. Oh and befor you say i cant heal, I havnt healed many fights where i havnt ranked around WOL top 150...
hello guys i just downloaded tuanhamonk.2.0.public.release.rev.17.zip. today i unpack this and now i have red exclamation mark at THCommon file is it my fault or anything with the download?
Nice settings, mosuri can u create one more for range heal (like 10ppl mosuri mogu + hof), but with spheres? for Tuahna: tested new update for WW, rly nice, gj, ty and one more question for you. Testing melee healing on zorlok 25ppl hm. don't know, it's coded or bug, gcd 1 sec, but in some moments cr uses Jab only in 2-3 sec. And what heal have more priority, Chi Wave or Uplift?
Hi i just dl this routine and asking u guys if u got some very nice settings for arena/bg as mistweaver, the thing is that i oom very quick using this atm :9 some hints how to use the addon when playing would be nice to from some leet tester thanks
While healing MSV (normal 10) I was told that fistweaving was not viable for healing, and it was basically, "just for fucking around in dungeons". I have absolutely no knowledge about mistweavers, so I just kept my mouth shut and switched to mistweaving. Long story short, my HPS and mana consumption were pretty bad. Not blaming the routine for this, but more so thinking that the class and spec are more meant for melee healing. Can anyone give any feedback that would back my theory? I've been benched as a healer since I can't keep up with a resto druid, holy paladin, and holy priest in HPS/mana use.
Hrm.. I think your doing something wrong... Are you using the default "Raid Settings" if so then you need to have a think about what your doing.. "Raid Settings" are impelmented for 25 Player mode not 10 man... The is cause A HUGE HEALING loss due to the numbers set for casting certain spells... Thre are some Great pre set user settings. Such as MistWeaver 10 (HC) Mogu+HoF-mixed style by mosuri and MistWeaver_HealingSphere by mosuri for Mistweaving and FistWeaver_HealingSphere by mosuri and other for fistweaving.. I rank, Most fights using these settings... In regards to Fistweaving not viable... Thats rubbish.. In fact only last night I gave it a shot in HM HOF, and my healing improved buy 20%, Im now beating a holy pally in my group i could not beat before.
Monk is melee-healer yeah.. but you also can do great hps/overall healing with range healing. if your raidlead tells you that melee healing is crap is monk, then ur raidlead is crap.
Yes, I generally use the 10M HC settings, since we're only running 10M regular MSV right now. We're a small guild, and we often have to PUG one or two DPS to fill out the full 10. I'm usually running as WW anyway, for DPS, but on occasion when they need 3 healers, I'm asked to switch to MW. My DPS set is 477, but my healing set is 470. I try not to use the default raid settings because it looks as though it uses practically every spell available. I haven't tried the newest healing yet with the healing sphere logic, so I'll give this another shot when we raid again later today or next week. Yes, I said that monk is classed as a melee-healing type, but I was quickly shut down and told to stop dps healing. I was told to stack up with the ranged healers and heal from there, like a monk should do. I simply did what I was told. I had low HPS by a substantial amount (about 15-20k less than the HPally and HPriest). I tried to explain to them that there wasn't a lot of healing for me to do because the raid, as a whole, was topped up by the HPriest's AoE heals (the HPally was focused on the two tanks). Anyway, I'll give the new logic a shot and see how it works out. Thanks for the help with the suggestions. For the most part I enjoy playing my monk with this routine, but I really hate what Blizzard did when they nerfed the healing. Before the nerf I was getting top heals in everything I did, now I'm lucky to get second place when I do.
Translation: mosuri have found a sweet spot that help Monk beat Paladin. Hmm, my Paladin crying for user preset, can anyone help please. I can not make good preset myself because I know the mechanic but don't have good experience on boss fight as you guys do.
Trying to decide if I should donate for special edition or not, as the normal version is pretty amazing. Does anyone have any data to show the difference?
10% or a bit more increased healing / dps / tanking updates are earlier than on public User settings for pvp / pve from 2k+ rated and heroic raiding users and most important u keep tuanha motivated and u support the Cr directly @tuanha Thought there are already presets in your thread or are they outdated ? My pala is stuck on lvl 87, so i just could throw out settings from my theory builds and experience which wouldnt help as much as it would if someone of ur pallys would take 10mins of his time to adjust his heroic settings for the general user and post it to ur thread :/
Just started using TuanHA TuanHA Monk 2.0 MistWeaver PvP.xml and it is amazing... will report later soon!!! edit- Noticed that it doesn't recast serpent statue whenever I am out of range or LOS. Could this be the since the range is set to 100 yds? Does LOS effect whether it casts it or not (ie. I have it set to 100 yds to recast again and if i'm 20 yds away but it is behind a wall would that effect it from recasting it?) I'm thinking it is just a preset issue. Will mess around with it a bit.
