@Tuahna Could you please refer to my post here; http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/82316-honorbuddy-making-raids-extremely-choppy.html Your CC is simply amazing for healing and is by far the best out there, but when it's being used the game becomes extremely choppy in 25 man raids compared to other CC's I have tried that don't affect the games performance at all. When using TuahnaMonk Special Edition to heal my 25 man raids, I am sitting at 60 FPS and the CC makes my game appear choppy as if i'm running at 10 FPS. I'm not sure if this is an issue that can be fixed or not, but I would love it if it was. CLU does not create this choppy feeling in raids, but it's healing is just terrible compared to your CC.
Did a bit a testing of this today for you again, feedback below: For raiding mistweavers turn off statue placement and put it down yourself. E.g Algaron, place it on the edge it will stay up the whole fight, if you leave the bot to cast it alot of the time it either puts it in the centre (where it falls of) or it puts out range or the bot will recast it alot (wasting mana). For will of emperor I think priority for tank healing needs tweaking It will be aoe healing and the tank will get low, but it wont cancel the spinning crane kick and will let the tanks die. You want it so it aoe healing and if tanks get low it want to be cancelling spinning crane kick and Surging mist the tank. Finally the bot is still casting enveloping mists and surging mists hard cast some times, leading to death. I know this is to conserve mana, but could you set up a mode where it will always use soothing mist then the move for the instant proc. As on fights where spike damage is important this would help alot. Kind Regards and Keep to the stella work Xeno!
Also if you want any tips / feedback at all josh let me know ^^ Xenohadden on skype if you need to add me and chat ^^
Well after doing some more testing, the problems lies within your Special Edition only. The public release of TuahnaMonk is not causing any of the choppiness that your special edition is. Please look into this, I will be using the public release until something is done. Appreciate all your hard work
Thank you for the report. It's really good that you point out the problem only exists in SE and not in PR. That mean the extra code in SE cause problem, I'll look into it and fix it if I can find. That a lot easier now because you help me isolate the problem. Can you tell me more detail, when the problem happen, what spec you are on... Thank you txd
I get (what I think) the same issue, when I target the boss and the raid require no healing/dispel the game becomes really choppy. As soon as I clear target or someone needs healing it's fine. Mistweaver on Special Edition
I havn't tested it on Brewmaster or Windwalker because I don't play those specs. The problems I am getting are with Mistweaver, and the choppiness occurs as soon as I start the bot in a 25man raid, it dosn't matter if I am in combat, or just sitting around waiting for a boss pull, as soon as I start the Special Edition it appears as if I'm getting around 10-15 FPS when I am clearly getting 60. I have been using the Public release for the past couple hours in raid finder and it works perfectly, no choppiness whatsoever, but as soon as I switch to the special edition, the choppiness comes right back. That's about all the information I have right now. The issue I am having is not with the Special Editions HEALING being choppy or laggy, it still does a great job healing, it's that the CC causes an unknown performance drop with the game itself, making camera movement, raid member movement, spell effects, mob movement, all become very choppy looking, as if i'm playing at 10 FPS.
AHA!!!!! I solved it!!!! The choppiness is coming from the Detox portion of the Special Edition, as soon as I disable "Detox Harmful Effects Immediately" the choppiness goes away, as soon as I enable it, the choppiness comes right back. There is definitly a problem with Detox enabled causing a performance drop with the game. As a quick fix for now I'll just disable it in the Special Edition and everything will be alright. Hope this helps you Tuahna.
if u click to use detox immediately, cc will check for debuffs every frame if dont use it asap, it will detox too but when no healing is required so, detox asap takes more CPU time than not asap it is the reason of drops
OK guys, fix detox lag issue. I'm on my laptop, frame rate is low not sure it gone but I'll do extra check once I can get to my desktop. Thank guys, thank txd
Just my 5cents, for those who use PowerAuras 4 revamp, it will cause a little bit fps issue with most of CCs. Let's wait until PowerAuras 5 released for more stability then. I know you don't need PA when you use Lazyraider, but just in case =P. @TuanHA: Can we have an improved interrupt mode? For example in my 25m raid, melee dps will take turn to interrupt, so i had to disable auto-interrupt from the Bot and wait for my turn, then manually interrupt, and tks Blizz that Interrupt can override GCD. Now my issue is the bot used all energy when i want to reserve it. Should we have any implemented code for us to toggle Advance Interrupting mode real quick in the combat, the bot always reserve 10-15 energy and does not Jab unless energy is >65-70 for example. I don't know if any other users have the same issues as mine, just suggesting
I think the problem gone after the lastest SVN upate. My FPS constantly at 70 and no sight of choppy yet. Than txd for reporting.
I used to have lag but I changed the priority of wow to high on task manager and it sorts out the choppiness without having to turn off detox
all mode have an annoying forced movement whether you turn it off or on expecially when you roll in pvp it turns to what you got targeted. any help with this
