First off, I am going to try to be extremely nice as Tuan does not like me being rude on his thread and I respect that. This is not my product, I do not market it, I do not advertise it, I do not own it, I am simply assisting with it. Second, while I understand completely that you do not wish to read all 154 pages of this thread, I do expect people to at least read the last few pages of a thread when they ask for something. If I posted settings each and every time someone has asked for them in this thread, close to every third post would be nothing but images and settings. I have posted my personal settings on here a number of times, I have explained how exactly to optimize settings and hps a number of times, other users have done the same, and people just do not seem to get it. So please, let me break this down as simple and politely as I can for you as this is what you are asking me to do: 1: Go through every dungeon - normal and heroic 2: Make screenshots of all my settings for each individual boss 3: Collect all the leather healing gear while doing so and fit them into my 22 slot bags (since I write this for you I dont have time to farm) 4: Go through every raid - lfr, 10man, 25man, normal, and heroic 5: Make screenshots of all my settings for each individual boss 6: Post all of these settings on the board. These settings will all be valid for a iLvl 490 Mistweaver. 7: Take all the collected random gear, go back and redo steps 1-6 for iLvl 489, 483, 463, 458, 450, and 442. The reason for this is simple. I can personally heal full 5 man heroics with nothing but renewing mist and an occasional chi wave / uplift. Why? I am iLvl 490. Could someone with 480 iLvl do this? Not probable. Could someone with 463 do this? No way in hell. Mistweavers are 100% gear dependent. If you want something with an "Out of box 100% perfection experience", you are going to never be satisfied. I never use Soothing Mist on Elegon. I almost always use it on Kings, sometimes I glyph uplift on Kings, sometimes I don't. Each raid fight is completely different on how you play, how your raid is playing, your job in the raid, and most importantly your iLvl. Last night I did the first boss in Terrace and has soothing mist to 70%, and had limited mana issues. Again - is this what someone with 480 ilvl would do? No. They would go oom. I only have one lockout each week, and that is used for 25man heroic typically. I also do LFR and an occasional heroic. I am sorry - it is impossible for me to give settings for every possible situation. Third, if you are having issues, I apologize, please post a log. 99.9% of responses any dev sees without a log is overlooked and ignored. Fourth, if people can't manage to do a simple thread search for the words "CrazyJosh + settings" or even read the last 5-6 pages of threads - hell just look for the attachments or pictures, it is extremely frustrating for me. I understand your frustration - I am getting bugs fixed as quickly as possible and spend nearly 8+ hours a day on this CR right now. Without logs and detailed information, it is extremely difficult to fix bugs or assist in other peoples settings. I try not to release code that has not been extensively tested by myself and my testing team. Everyone isn't noticing healing loss, a lot of people have improved healing. I can't update the first post, I'm sorry. Now - please refer to my above response. Enable "Heal OOC". It is probably just waiting for combat to initiate before healing.
The settings are there to customise it based on your style / gear level. If there was one cookie cutter setting for all characters there wouldn't need to be a settings screen. It's really not that hard to set up for your character, a lot of it is trial and error, but you can't expect people to do it for you.
Maybe the first step should be you learning how to correctly play your class without the assistance of a bot. Then and only then would you understand that this CR has all those configurable settings available in it so that you can tweak and customize it as you see fit. A wise man once said, if the rotation was something set in stone, it would be hard coded and there would be no configurable options. So go learn what needs to be customized BY YOU, and stop QQ'ing.
This is typically caused by a corrupted install. Please closely follow the directions in the first post.
Bought this over 1month ago and forgot to send you my details so you could add me to the svn and now i forgot you'r email adress so i can't find it in my inbox, can you please help me with this? Thanks
I did have it enabled, surprisingly in BG's it works better. Seems to be struggling in arena. I'll try to get a log tonite for you. I actually used your exact pvp settings you posted a few pages back, minus the jade serpent summon, I like putting that down myself.
Hi tuanha, I'm a Special Edition user running the latest files from SVN as Brewmaster. After yesterday's Monk updates, the CC is not moving or targeting mobs anymore. I tried exiting HB and the game, deleting my HB cache, and restarting both, but the problem persisted. If I manually right-clicked the mob it would attack it as usually does, but then I'd come back 10 minutes later to see it standing with its back to a mob, with my toon nearly dead. Here's my log: View attachment 2260 2012-11-26 22.52.txt Thank you.
I tried that, in combat, crtl(hold) then f, nothing. both keys at the same time, nothing. Press once ctrl and after 3 and 4 sec F, nothing. Press once ctrl and after 3 and 4 sec F (hold), nothing. Is there a change I can do to any of the files so that it is always enabled?
I really like your public release. So much so I have given you a 40$ donation. and once I recieve the Special Edition svn. If it is as good as everybody says it is. I shall give another 50$ donation to top it off
Gonna make another post about it since I'm not really sure anyone has taken notice on it. Jab seems to be broken for Mistweavers. I can't simply make it useing it automatically. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
If you are using BGBuddy - the "Heal OOC" setting is ignored. If "Heal OOC" was checked and there was still delay in healing I need a log and screenshot of settings otherwise. I don't see any movement issues with your log. Make sure you have MoveToTarget enabled. Yes - edit Code: TuanHA-Monk-Mistweaver-<ToonName>.xml At the end find Code: </THMistweaver> Right before that add Code: <SFistweave>True</SFistweave> However - if the keybindings arent working please give me a log of you hitting them a few times.
Please explain w/ log and screenshot of settings. I can't test anything right now due to 5.1 - but last night I was fistweaving like a pro.
Code: [19:38:17.186 D] System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Please be sure a sound file exists at the specified location. Update to latest SVN and make sure it downloads all available files. You are missing the sound files.
I had this same problem using full AFK, I noticed the Auto target and move to target was unchecked I clicked those and it worked. Any time I change raid or dungeon it does not check or uncheck these so just make sure you have them how you want before you continue.
Good evening Josh. Thank you for all of your hard work. I know you are probably busy with other things especially with the patch just being released and everything, but I have a question for you and if you have the time it would be awesome to get a suggestion. Currently using the special edition by the way. Could you possibly give me an idea on what I should be using as a Mistweaver strictly in 2v2 arena? It is all I do and I have been trying to play with the settings but I just have not found a comfortable overall setting. I do like to do a little damage to help my partner. The interupts work great, as does the fact that disable is working for me now. Thank you in advance and I appreciate what you do for this community.
