Currently only Arcanist, Scholar, Summoner, Conjurer, and White Mage can heal themselves. Also, currently only Arcanist, Scholar, Conjurer, White Mage, Gladiator, and Paladin can use Protect and Stoneskin. Also to note, Protect and Stoneskin will only be used when Autonomous (meaning using Fatebot or Orderbot). That will change in the near future though (I just have to go through and add each spell 1-by-1 to each class/job). As soon as everything stabilizes I'll start on that daunting task lol.
If you are just grinding against enemies, yes. But if you are using the fate bot and keep your gear up, it shouldn't be that hard at all.
It all depends on what class it is and how many people were participating in the fate prior to its clear.
Just some feedback with dragoon: it seems to run very well, can't really fault much. Sometimes (not very often) it tends to use life surge on an ability other than full thrust. It's not that huge of a dps loss, just something that would improve it somewhat at least. Not sure if you need a log file for that or not. I seem to get the recommended dps with it. Thank you for adding in those options as well.
I never cured myself at all. Make sure you are leveling your bird as healer. That thinis a botter's BFF I ran fates to hit 50 in everything well before the Ninja rush... so there weren;t many people running fates at all. Set your boss fate to not attack unless the boss is under a certain percent (I set 80% to give myself travel time). If you are eating AOE after AOE even self heals won't saveyou though.
New version out. I didn't know that spells like Leg Sweep and etc. would also consume Life Surge (thought it was only the Thrusts and what not for some reason). I've set it to lock everything out until Full Thrust is cast now. Let me know if you notice anything else consuming Life Surge with the new version. Also, I haven't brushed off the SMN mana issue. I'm still researching it and looking into how I can change the rotation to still do max DPS while being easier on the MP usage. Hopefully I'll find a solution soon.
From the tests i did, the life surge seems to be fixed for the most part. However on rare occasions, there was periods where it went TT>VT>FT>LS>FT. I'm thinking it may be some sort of latency maybe?
New version. Rebuilt Summoner logic to be more mana efficient. It's much better but I'll still keep looking to see if it can be improved any more. It looks like I left an unneeded call in the logic. I've removed it and hopefully it won't attempt the double cast anymore. Let me know how it does.
The smn seems to use mana more efficiently for now, but the life surge problem is still there. EDIT: did another parse, and it didn't happen this time. Odd.
New version. Were you using Fatebot/Orderbot or ExCombat? I found a few errors in the Dragoon pull logic with Life Surge and corrected them (also some typos in Arcanist/Scholar/Summoner related to summoning).
I have been using ex assist. I will test your new version now. EDIT: still seems to be doing it. Would ping be a factor at all? I'm an aussie and get roughly 140 ping.
I can't say for sure until I get a chance to test it tomorrow (the logic looks sound but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about that lol). Even if it was latency I'll compensate somehow. As soon as I get off work tomorrow I'll try to get it resolved. Hopefully I'll have some more ideas for SMN MP improvement as well.
I have just started using your updated routine and it appears when i die during FATE grind i do not revive.
When I was raiding with the SMN Profile (the one in MoreDots) I found that once my mana got below about 40%, if I used Energy Drain on one out of every 3 Aetherflows, I wouldn't run out of mana. I might add a check for if Aetherflow Stacks = 1 and current mana% < 40 then cast energy drain.....then maybe add another one that will use energy drain as long as you have any stacks if your mana % is < 10%.
I'm not sure if it's just me... does Marauder not use cooldowns like Bloodbath or Foresight? Dunno if those are programmed in or not yet.
