Ultima - The Ultimate Combat Routine

Any Alex Savage monks using Ultima as their CR? I'm thinking of switching to monk, but have zero idea which is our best option as far as CR's go right now.

I'm assuming it's ultima, but I can probably ask in general in the forums if it fits better there, just let me know. <3

 

Alright I have another question. Maybe I just don't understand anything because this is my first time botting.
I run Combat Assist with Ultima; Is there anyway to get the CR to auto target things without me having to click them or hitting tab?

 

ultima sucks but its the only option for monk on RB if you really wanna do savage i would look into other combat routines

 

You mean other job and other CR or is there a better CR for monk? Sorry, just confused on the wording (saying ultima is the only option, then saying to look into another CR).

 

i mean other bots sorry was unclear this combat routine is the best monk combat routine available on reborn buddy but it is not good at all there are much better on other bots

Are you a main monk? If so, what exactly is wrong with the CR on monk? If you don't mind me asking maybe I can tinker with the CR and try to fix whatever it is it's missing.

Is it ok to edit Ultima CR's w/o getting in trouble? I'd release to public here.

 

Many people have provided edits in the past. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to as well.

 

i tried making my own with the your raiding buddy thing but i lack the skills to do so and without a working overlay like the dragoon CR from kain a monk CR is useless you would have to basically memorize it for it to function at competitive dps for raiding now if you want to level or grind fates ultima is perfectly fine but not for raiding

 

Modify the few things I do can not be used arbitrarily?

When I did it.

Ultima dosen't show up in chose CR window.

That's not an issue with a Combat Routine.

What profile are you trying to load and what is the path to the profile (e.g., C:\Users\xXx\RebornBuddy\Profiles\y2krazy\Gathering?

 

Paladin Mods

So I modified the Paladin profile to make it more heavensward relevant and felt like I should share. I kept most of the programming code intact from the original ultima and I learned from more of the sophisticated ultima profiles to modify the file. So if you replace your PLD files in Behaviors--> combat with the first file (delete the behaviors part in the file name) and the methods with the end file (delete the methods part from the file name), the routine will now use the Royal Authority rotation as its main rotation, and also do the upkeep of goring blade. Of course on the pull, I would highly recommend some manual rage of halone combos to get your initial threat, and to watch your threat table also throw in some manual halone combos.

Big thanks to TaiponX for his warrior modifications, which ultimately inspired me to figure out the programming language and make these modifications. Big thanks to the Ultima Dev for pretty much doing everything else.

Encourage More Profile Modding?

 

Am I the only one who got this problem?
My warrior always stacks his abandon stacks to 5 but after that the bot doesnt use fell cleave, any tips?

 

Love this CR, however notice on BLM it doesnt use the quick repowering of blizz 3 instead transposes to recharge.

 

Ok stupid question time....i created the folder and did the SVN thing yet when i try to run it in my bot i got no scripts in there only empty folders. I know i fucked up on something but what....Any help getting this to work will be appreciated.

 

If you have empty folders then the most likely issue is you failed at svn.(specifically svn checkout).


To verify theres currently no server side issue i just pulled down rev 59 without issues.

 

As an astrologian, is there a way to make it so that the CR heals my chocobo while I farm fates?
