I have seen that on my own as it was waiting for an event that didn't pop. I have only seen that when I have switched instances though and the timers were off. Did you switch instances by any chance? Also why did the group leave a lower timer area? Can you explain what caused this event to occur?
Did not switch instances. All the timers were gray. Two of the timers were very close together and when they ended another location popped blue and the current location stayed gray. I'm going by Ahsran Buddy colors. I've seen this happen before when all the timers are gray. When they are all gray you can't count on the timers showing the correct order of events.
I meant my timers =) IF you click on the Events Tab and "Show Events" I keep timers for everything. It will actually tell you when the next event is due. The only reason it would stay near a location is if the event is due to pop before other events. Although I will look into this a bit more, to see if I can get it to stay with the group.
I'll check that next time. I don't see how your timers can always show which event is next though because there is some element of randomness in them popping. This is new. The bot finished one event but stayed there for several minutes while everyone went to next event. Then it started going but paused several times and missed that event. Then it paused while everyone went to the next event and it missed that one too.
Can you put the Log Settings with in HB to diagnostic and try it. Also do you have targeting and movement on in singular? As for the timers, I keep an internal timer so I know about when they should spawn. 30min (hard) + 10min (random). It should always know what is potentially next and wait for the random 10min timer after that. Once the 3min timer is announced it will update the timers. So run diagnostic logging for me and I will figure out what is wrong for you.
Yes Can we make the percentage configurable? I don't want to be fighting while 80% of the group is going to the next event. Any tips for finding groups where your faction is dominant? I'm spending a lot of time fighting and not getting much for it.
I've been watching your timers and for the last 10 minutes they show all events starting at the same time.
The percent thing is actually in, you just can't see it yet, it should be configurable next release. I am actually finding groups by hand as the new way Blizzard is doing stuff is via Raid Finder. Look for a raid in raid finder -> PvP -> Ashran and find a full events group. Once you find that and join it and stay in it (I have good luck both fations doing this). I have been looking into adding Raid Finding options but it is going to be a minor B to get added and I want to see what they are going to do with Ashran before I put in a ton of work to do that.
New Revision Tomorrow: * Added - Selling of Aspirant Gear * Added - Looting of Artifacts * Added - Ability to change the group combat assist %
Hello I've purchase the plug in, and ive noticed that the option" Assist the leader" is gone. Ive been having troubles in setting it up. I did what u said in former posts ( Be in Stormshield and press start) but once he enters Ashran he just stays there without doing anything. I've tried to "fiddle" with the Plugin setup, but, it stays the same. Can you please assist me in some way in order to make it work. I really liked the plug in and i find it very useful to do the Nemesis quest or farming CP's. Thank you for your time in reading this post.
If you want to do Nemesis, the targeting option is there. You can check the Nemesis Target checkbox in the Combat tab. You also need to be in a group, so you will want to add chats to be broadcast. You can do that from the Chat Tab. You may also use Raid Finder to find a full group on your own, join that then hit start outside of Ashran. It sounds like you just need to set up chats to send out to find a group or use raid finder to find a group. That should solve your issues =) Let me know if you need more of an explanation. NuclearPanda is almost done with the video tutorial.
Thank you Ill give it a go, if not i will wait for the tutorial. If not i will PM you . Thank you again for the swift reply.
Also, for anyone needing immediate assistance, you can always contact me on Skype. I'm on 24/7 and get messages through my phone so unless I'm asleep or otherwise seriously busy at work (which doesn't happen to often), I'll be available.
Will this work outside ashram? ie. If I form a group, can I run this bot and the followers will follow and kill useful stuff? I have been using the shadow bot, which allows grop members to follow and target what the leader targets. But I need some of the group to be able to follow but have independent targeting - eg if several things attack the group it is useful to have at least a couple of the group doing 'defense'. So, if it will work like that it will be useful to me. And I would be curious about its targeting priorities. I would like (I think) it to target #1 any player attacking group healer, #2 any player attacking anyone else in group, #3 any mob attacking group, #4 any adds the leader is not attacking (but without pulling more mob), #5 assist leader.
I'm really sorry but I think I'm missing something. I've read through all the post but my character just sits in Storm shield Stronghold and it says 'Loading Tiles' I hope I haven't missed anything ridiculous.
yes, manually driving the leader . . . the others using some combination of your bot and the shadow bot (probably the healer, and one dps to assist leader)
And you're wanting to do events within Ashran or are you wanting to farm something outside of Ashran?
well, both. I just like running in a nicely configured effecient group of 5 or 6. I am trying to figure out how/where this fits in to that. Right now my two tools are shadow bot and the defend plug-in. Question is if/how using this will help the group perform better. The current biggest weakness with my set-up is in killing adds while the leader focused on main target, and if a bunch of horde attack toons attack the group, the group does not defend itself very effectively. There is also the garrison invasion - how will if function there? The current set up does not do very well. I guess another question is if it 'plays nice' with the defend plug in or if they conflict/flight - bot I understand if you may not have tested for that.
