sorry, once i bought my SSD there was no sticker on it "please don't defrag, it's stupid" stop bitching around So what about the Win7 ISO - which one you use? there's plenty (also "light" versions and whatever...), but the one i've choosen might not be the right decision... Most torrent crap fails with updates and non-updated win7 can also cause troubles... i even consider to buy a legit key.....
I just wanted to be sure that everything will work same as host machine, so I picked ultimate. It's still light - windows, firefox, eb and poe client ~13GB, and 1,9GB RAM usage top.
im using 8.1 pro. but im not entirely sure what exact sp build. i just remember that i had to try 3-4 different p-bay isos to get one that actually worked stable.
I seriously doubt that. Unless you mean when bot idles in town. Even then PoE will take min. 1.3-1.4 GB, but under load (e.g. in map full of mobs) it can go up to 2GB and more - that's with all graphics set to minimum. EB will take another 200-300 MB RAM.
Try unloading all the crap poe loads into the ram and never free up again and you will enjoy a 300-500mb use.
When I said I've meant exactly settings in production_config file. I didn't even specify that, because it's a common knowledge at this point. WITH THESE settings i'm getting 1.3-1.4GB RAM usage idle, 1.8-1.9 in maps full of mobs.
If you mean item filters then i have them already. What particular crap are you referring to? Unless there's a rendering disabler (like for WoW/D3) i'm not aware of...
You got that high usage even after reload a game? If you running for 24h+ through a lot of different maps then this RAM usage is possible. I attached mine.
Yes, after reload it's relatively lower. I wasn't taking that into consideration though, because it catches up pretty quickly, and i'm not that keen to restarting the client every couple of hours just to get RAM usage decrease. I don't do 24h long sessions though, however it's indeed maps-only botting.
Ye, ye, that shitty "memory boosters" that destroys your SSD's within few months. I can make it using even 100MB of RAM but I like my disks. SetProcessWorkingSetSizeEx function from WinAPI, take a look at it.
Screen which I posted was after running six different locations by 8,5h. Loading every possible kind of monsters, bosses, attacks and map patterns will results high RAM usage but at start you should got no more than 0,75GB. What a useful post to the topic! It changed my life! Come on people give him Order of Merit! It's basic theme, not aero.
My vmwares are set with 1gb ram each(ddr4 2133) and they are working flawlessly. Each vmware is taking additional up to 800mb ram after long period of working.
