[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

The 578 has bis trinkets the other one idk

 

Couple of things to try;

- Enable the 'sparkuggz' opener
- Set the minimum HP for Immolate, no point casting on a unit thats about to die.
- Enable shadowburn cancel cast stuff. Good for sniping some kills.
- AoE count to 4 (3 is a dps loss)
- Set chaos bolt minimum HP value
- Disable all RoF settings - it's no longer a DPS increase

As Staffix says, some better trinkets would help to, but this should be a good start.

Do not use the 'sparkuggz' opener as you are way too low on haste and thus you will most definitely lose a trinket proc on the second Chaosbolt.

 

How much haste would you recommend?

 

I am personally at 10154 (self buffed) which is a soft cap for additional tick of immolate, but you should be ok from 9k+ haste for that 'sparkuggz' opener so you wont miss trinket proc for your CBs.

 

You usw anything like ask Mr robot to reforge and stuff?
If yes, do you Set up some things by your elf?

 

Yes I am using MrRobot but just as a tool for reforge and regeming. I am using my own stat weights and my game knowledge for what I need as you have to look on what you fighting in SoO. Many fights are AoE, with many adds and thus that default setting of mr robot is way off from what you actually need on your warlock

Haste is much much MUCH better than crit will ever be for destro locks especially when u do cleaving.

If you ever heard of simulationcraft, then use it or use google and make a research. Will tell you what are your current stat weights.

 

I have a really good computer and this is the first time I have had lag from a cr.. which of the specs is the least intensive on your processing? It seems to lock up the most from Affliction, rarely with destro I havent tried demo at all. I do pvp so those freezes can be a problem at times.

 

i would like the option for cooldowns "activate if trinket procc" that would be a great option for racial, lifeblood, trinket activation, and the other class cooldowns. waiting for the trinket procc and instaqnt pop everything you have for bursting, insane for dotlock pressure in my opinion

 

Talent / Settings Setup​

Key Demonic Information:
-- Disable ALL and ANY options that you are not going to use, this directly affects the rotation speed.
-- If you want a good way to determine what to set minimum HP values to, a simple way is to multiply your maximum health by 15. I.e. (600,000 * 15 = 9,000,000) as for Chaos Bolt, you could multiply by 5. These will usually give well-rounded health values for your gear level.
-- If you run with a rogue or a second warlock (that you know maintains Curse of the Elements), disable the use of this option.
-- Keep in mind of soulshatter usage, on fights like General Nazgrim and Paragons of the Klaxxi, mechanics cause fixation; disabling this option will free up an extra GCD on these fights.
-- Disable twilight ward during farm, a lot of fights in Siege of Orgrimmar have shadow damage that isn't lethal whatsoever and will end up causing you to waste a few GCDs than you have to.
-- Enable "Use Sparkuggz Style Opener", for the proper opener rotation. Use this with a pre-pot/pre-cast Incinerate Macro, 1.5-2 seconds before pull, like so:

-- ALWAYS make sure the Aura List is loaded into the rotation, do this by going to the Advanced Tab --> Import from file --> Demonic Folder --> Settings --> Auras --> AuraList.xml | Without this, the rotation won't use Chaos Bolt, Soul Swap or Soul Fire with procs/cooldowns.

(Import this by clicking the bottom left button "Load from File". By default the minimum chaos bolt health is 1mil, Immolate at 1.5mil.)

Bosses:

If you're under ~560 item level, as destruction you should be going supremacy with the observer pet on fights I mention using grimoire of sacrifice, the only exception to this is Immerseus, where you could choose to run Sac or Fel Imp.


Immerseus [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Mannoroth's Fury
-- Position self to be in range of Congealed Sha's when they start to spawn. Target adds in the middle of the pack to get maximum AoE coverage. Focus on targeting the boss ASAP when he comes up.


Fallen Protectors [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Fel Imp Pet) | Archimonde's Darkness for farm, Kil'Jaeden's Cunning for Progression
-- Minimize movement, target accordingly for possible AoE.


Norushen [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Observer Pet) | Archimonde's Darkness for Farm, Kil'Jaeden's Cunning for Progression
-- Minimize movement.


Sha of Pride [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning (Affliction Can also be good here during fast farm kills, with Grim of Supremacy (Fel Imp Pet) and Kil'Jaeden's Cunning)
-- Minimize movement, target accordingly for AoE/Havoc usage.


Galakras [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Archimonde's Darkness for farm, Kil'Jaeden's Cunning for Progression
-- Set Dark Soul and Racial usage to be used on cooldown. Minimize movement, target accordingly for AoE/Havoc usage.


Iron Juggernaut [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Observer Pet) | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning (Destruction with Grimoire of Sacrifice and Kil'Jaeden's Cunning will be more optimal for those with not-so-great trinkets)
-- Minimize movement. If your group avoids boss uptime for Shock pulse I'd recommend running with a pet. At this point if you're 570 ilvl+ you could most likely stand in most of the mechanics and take barley any damage, so running with Archimonde's Darkness is an option.


Kor'kron Dark Shaman [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Observer Pet) | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning IF you stack both bosses together, otherwise (Destruction with Grimoire of Sacrifice and Kil'Jaeden's Cunning will be more optimal without them stacked together)
-- Minimize movement, aim to target slimes for extra aoe.


General Nazgrim [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Observer Pet) | Archimonde's Darkness
-- Minimize movement, keep pet on boss during defensive stance (Pets are allowed, No damage taken), focus adds during defensive stance. If your guild allows burning through defensive stance, disable the pausing option in the advanced settings of Demonic.


Malkorok [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning
-- Minimize movement, position self for AoE/Havoc usage. Avoid getting slowed or your overall DPS is going to be extremely low.


Spoils of Pandaria [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Archimonde's Darkness
-- Set Dark Soul and Racial usage to be used on cooldown. Minimize movement, position self for AoE/Havoc usage.


Thok the Bloodthirsty [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Fel Imp Pet) | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning
-- Minimize movement, focus adds for maximum uptime. For higher farm numbers you're going to want to run with Burning Rush for most of the fight chasing Thok around, if you can maintain 100% uptime on him I'd recommend Grim of Sacrifice instead; or Affliction.


Siegecrafter Blackfuse [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Observer Pet) | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning or Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning if you're on belt duty, or don't have high end trinkets.
-- Minimize movement, position self for AoE/Havoc usage. Destruction can be extremely good here on the main platform; good AoE and usually shadowburn sniping.


Paragons of the Klaxxi [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning OR Affliction | Grimoire of Supremacy (Fel Imp Pet) | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning if you have fast farm kills/high end trinkets.
-- Minimize movement, position self for Havoc usage. Monitor procs, allow the rotation to get buffed Immolates out and to maximize chaos bolt usage.


Garrosh Hellscream [Heroic]
Spec/Talents: Destruction | Grimoire of Sacrifice | Kil'Jaeden's Cunning
-- Minimize movement, position self for AoE/Havoc usage. If you're going to be in the group moving out for Desecrate, I recommend upping your Immolate Force refresh treshold to a higher value, due to stutter moving. I currently use 4,550 for this specific fight; if you find it's still no good, up it.

How is affli in PvE atm? Does it still replace good dots with bad dots?

 

It's the best spec for a few fights in siege, protectors is a for sure thing while others depend on your guilds DPS. It's going to pull ahead the faster you kill a fight, the longer a fight drags on as affliction is going to result in worst and worst numbers, so it's good once you get a month or so into farm; most of the time.

would it be possible to add an option to Demonic to automatically start burst when the trinket proc "Surge of Dominance" Surge of Dominance - Spell - World of Warcraft is up [OR keybind is pressed]?
