[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

It's using SimulationCraft's setup, but to be perfectly honest there's little point in changing it now when 5.4 is released soon - and will likely require a full re-write.

Tested. It works great with GrindBuddy to pull surround mobs.

It may not help, but is it possible to find the best place to cast RoF to pull more mobs, Or only use RoF to pull when AoE condition satisfied?

 

Would anyone be willing to share there demo settings with me? Trying to get the most out of my dps with it. Thanks. Also in Demo is it supposed to spam shadowbolt? Also it is not casting curse of the elements on its raid boss!! I will post a log shortly

 

The amount of code that would be required to do this really isn't worth it (finding the point between the most units).

Nothing wrong with using RoF to pull only a single unit really, but I could add code in to check there's more than 1.

It should res the pet and create healthstones. Tyrael was updated a few days ago to better support this.

I'll not be adding support in for mixed mode and changing the settings - just use 1 pet for both. No harm using a voidwalker in BGs - just means you can disarm instead of silence etc.

Demo uses shadow bolt to build demonic fury when it can't cast soul fire.

Curse of the Elements is only cast when nobody else in the raid is bringing that particular debuff (i.e. another warlock, a rogue's master poisoner etc). We don't need to waste a GCD casting it if someone else has done it for us.

Well does anyone have any settings then for demo? Im almost full 522 geared but still missing the UVLS Trinket and the dps is just horrible.

I have done desto. While the dps is sub par my guild is wanting me in demo.

 

Why do they want you demo? Tell them they don't know what they're talking about, and you'll go demo when you get the UVLS trinket (if that's still viable in 5.4).

 

hi millz first off, i'm sorry if this question was put already, but i didn't manage to read the whole thread

can you explain the "auto target" logic behind this routine, plz? it's really confusing me. most of the time it does not enter combat automatically. i have to select a target, then the rotation starts. but sometimes when i'm at short range to the mob, it targets the mob automatically and enters combat anyways. futher most of the time, during a fight with multiple mobs, if a target is dead he would switch to the next target automatically. but sometimes he doesn't and i have to switch target one by one by myself. i don't have a log right now, cause i'm at work. but i wonder if you guys did come across this issue?

edit: i have the premium version btw.

 

My guess is, you are being targetted by the mob, at which time the CR kicks in. Same with multiple mobs. If no mob is targetting you, the CR also does nothing.
I believe this CR does not have targetting and movement?
/edit: oh, the premium version. That one might have targetting

 

Hey - The targeting will only target units which are targeting us (or someone in our group), and you're in combat.

If it doesn't target the next unit, Honorbuddy has stopped pulsing the routine.

 

hey, thx for the quick answer. so the cr should start fighting when the tank is pulling? and if one target is dead it should switch to the next? thx for clarifying. it's not working propper for me then. maybe i can upload a log later, so you can have a look at it.

 

Once you get in combat (if using Tyrael or similar) then it'll start attacking. It should switch to a new target once yours is dead, yes.

Just curious, did the recent update have anything to do with movement? I updated this morning and the bot will stop me when I'm moving, even though I have all movement and targeting / facing options unchecked.

Edit: Also, sometimes the rotation itself will pause instead of just movement when pausemove on wasd is enabled.
