I always find the timeout requests strange, before I brought HB I would sit at my PC for 4hrs straight and manually fly around shol, I don't find this an abnormal behavior. I am currently loving the AvoidPlayers plugin, on my med pop sever it just clears me out of the way of anyone seeing what I am doing, never get in a ninja node situation. NPH is down but who cares, I ain't flying around by hand and that all that matters.. G
Short Review: I was trying out Farmer Joe for a some time and let fpsware know about some issues. Unfortunately I got banned a few days later so I couldn't really do much. But then again I was using GatherBuddy as well so that was probably the reason. (More info on ban report forums if someone is interested). So, this botbase is really cool and noob friendly. The UI has so many options you can use according to your likings. Some features are implemented in the UI but don't work yet. For some reason FJ was having issues with Druids using flight form for who knows what reason. Usually really slow between mounting, gathering, dismounting, etc. The path was very random and in conjunction with AvoidPlayers it was doing pretty good avoiding other human players. However, not everything was good for me (hence why I was also using GB2). My NPH suffered a lot from using FarmerJoe, about a 30-40% decrease. I was having other issues which fpsware said were only happening to me, such as: -Slow actions (Mounting -> flying up -> flying around -> going to node -> gathering -> repeat) this cycle was executed slowly for some reason, especially the going to node, dismounting and gathering. -Sometimes skept nodes (on my end) for no apparent reason. -Took a long time to switch to "Combat mode" And probably some minor ones I can't remember. Overall it is a good botbase and I'm willing to give it another go once I have more farmers at lvl 90.
What, exactly, is the point? Even if the NPH is lower, that is more of a "greed then need" option. Slow and steady wins the race. If you could farm 24/7 "fairly" safe or use GB2 with, as it stands at this point, a high risk of ban. I bet you would use FJ every time. Don't take me wrong, I am not picking on your post. I just don't understand what the point you are trying to make in reference to FJ...you like it or you don't?

I meant to explain the pros and cons of FJ, not necessarily expressing an opinion. I like the botbase, but it has some issues. In fact, I think I said somewhere in my post that the botbase is really cool. Saying something is good doesn't mean its perfect, does it? I don't see the point of your post, and no offense either. I was sharing my experience, period. Make of it what you like.
Yes thts true tht its not abnormal for people to do 4 hours or so straight farming, with regards to my comments i guess i should be more specific with what the point of my words are. In this situation the timeouts im refering to are in actuality so i can leave this running all day and that it will behave itself almost as if i was the one playing so it will run for say 10-14 hrs on some days and will take breaks and so on itself, this is useful for if i only want to babysit it for 50-70% of the time.

there is a "German-Version" of Honorbuddy already. standard hb ->cut out questing, gb2, and some other stuff i guess. nevertheless, all germans life in china as of now.
You still can't use any other farming botbases as far as we are aware since this is something that has been removed entirely as function from hb for german users. So you need to accept blizzard took germany down in its lawsuit. Read the post of bossland as it states functions that automatically farm herb/ores are removed.
I'm still recovering from the flu, I've never been hit with anything like it before. I'm back at work and trying to catch up on the last 2 weeks of work - its going to take a while. Unfortunately I won't have time to do any development for the next few weeks
No worries. Just take your time recovering. You'll be back to the coding grind once you're ready to do so. I've personally just gotten over a nice patch of sickness myself, so I know how you feel. Rest up, take your meds, and get well mate.
