      well, my problems persist :(

      my vps provider already mailed that everything's ok, but i still got these nasty lag spikes.

      when i play maps in party i got a constant 1500ms ping and i can reproduce this with my WinMTR logs. It shows package loss starting from the first hop (my VPN)

      When using vmare to bot is it suggested to use a VPN? Few ppl told me that it doesn't really matter since they have same mac address so its likely to look more suspicious or no?

      ok, yesterday evening i did some more testing.

      switched from WLAN to LAN.
      switched from VM to host
      tried different graphics options
      tried Dxtory

      i found out my latency is directly affected by the FPS.

      if the FPS are stable 60+ i also have a stable 30ms ping
      if my FPS is going up and down the connection is f*ed up. 1000 and more ms

      i thought it's a bit better with dxtory and 60 FPS limited, but after a few seconds the FPS drops were back.

      you can try it on your own - if you use a FPS Limiter with ~10-20 FPS you get horrible lags. (maybe it's "normal" - i dunno)

      But as long i don't get stable FPS i won't have a chance to bot Maps.

      Next steps? Other GPU driver? Or just ask GGG if they could please revert to PRE 2.0 :mad:
      Some people talked about the monitor, i cannot image it has something to do with the monitor...

      The bot is causing the fps to drop.I have that problem with fps too and my ms isnt stable it jumps from 50-100 but no more only when the bot is running,else its stable.Well in my case im ok with this fps issue cuz it isnt affecting my farm speed

      in my case the bot is affecting it a bit, but the main problem is the game and the FPS.
      I can reproduce the lags whenever i want: i just join a multiplayer maps party. any skill-bomber drops my FPS to the bottom and the lag-fest starts.... :(

      when i do solo maps manually the FPS and Ping is sometimes not good. bosses and large mob packs lead to FPS spikes
      when i do solo maps with the bot i got some FPS spikes at the beginning and after a few minutes it's unplayable. too much deaths.
      when i do multiplayer maps with a skill bomber it's the absolute overkill, then i see 1 screen each second.

      never had this pre 2.0
      didn't change my setup, the only thing is my GPU driver updated. Maybe i can try and find a older GPU driver.

      But hey, i tried so many things and it was completely wasted time...

      anyone want to buy 2 PoE accounts? (~15 Ex worth) :mad::rolleyes:

      I did some more long testing and you are right:

      the bot is the main trigger of the FPS troubles.

      when i play manually i also have some issues (sometimes better, sometimes worse) - but when i start the bot it's definitely "game over".
      I start the bot, the FPS spikes, and the same time also latency spikes.

      FPS Limiter (dxtory) and such didn't increase the performance, i hope pushedx or someone else got ideas.

      stopped botting after 2.0 but i invested like 20 hours of research because of this crap.

      i don't know exactly what triggered it, but since a week i got better performance running 2 bots.

      removed sound, switched from 2 VM's to 1 VM and 1 Bot on host, limited to 40 FPS and such....

      but when i bot +5 hours i run into a old, stupid error:

      Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

      Anyone else got this troubles?
      It only happens when i run PoE.

      Load is ok, heat is ok.

      This guide didn’t help:

      http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-art...TIKMDAGhasstoppedrespondingerrormessages.aspx

      Is it useful to try another GPU instead?
      Actually i managed to get „playable“ FPS with my old GPU.
      But there are so many people complaining about low FPS even with 500$ GPU’s…
      Should i consider to buy another, but older GPU?

      hey tony,
      can you give me some more details? (pm is also ok)

      CPU? mainboard?
      Windows? any tweaking?
      reduced pagefile? (i got 24gb ram blowing up my win7 installations and take too much space on my 128 gb ssd)
      SSD?
      any special VM Settings? (bridged mode and such)
      VMware version? (7.x?)
      openvpn?

      but at least good to know that such old GPU's are still working....

      ASUS Z87 + I7 920
      Win7 pro (no tweaks)
      SSD for host
      Normal VM, no tweaks either
      no flickering version
      Nope.

      ok, thanks.
      i forgot: your PoE settings similar to this?
      http://pastebin.com/0UrFTDcD

      no FPS limiter? no "low fps helper" ? what happens if you join a multiplayer map with a skill bomber?
      but at least you also got your PoE installation on the SSD? (i prefer different installations, no shared folder)

      i know you aren't trolling me/us, but it's hard to believe that this stupid game is running way better on such a old rig.

      some people (also legit player) would love to play this game smooth on their 1500$ rigs and you got 3 VMs running ... o_O

      with "single install" you mean you only have 1 installation folder and the PoE.exe linked in your batch file?

      i am just curious and want to find out everything that gives a performance boost. but i doubt 1 PoE installation per VM has negative effects.

      and what about the PoE tweaking? automatic? lockstep? might share your production config? (blacklist account information^^)

      latest Windows7 updates, latest GPU drivers or just older ones?

      can you share the exact VM version? VMware tools versions/updated? same Windows version on your VMs or different?
      32bit or 64 bit?

      You're looking too far...

      Install VMW 7.x, install win7, do updates, install gpu driver, share your poe/bot, win.

      about the black screen, i tested poe on r9 270x, r9 290 and 7850, every radeon gave me black screen after some hours,
      when using r9 290 i underclocked it with about -30% cpu/mem clocks which gave me much less blackscreens
      My botting rigs (i have 2, 4vm each) are running currently geforce gtx 650 = 0 black screens, ofc after 2.0 i have a very big fps drop, but im using tanky builds which dont give a f*ck with 10fps, map times are max 15min so not so bad, When i watch them, it looks terrible, but they are going strong ;p

      in vm cfg i added this

      svga.autodetect = "false"
      svga.maxWidth = "1600"
      svga.maxHeight = "1200"
      svga.vramSize = "134217728"
      svga.graphicsMemoryKB = "524288"

      i need 3 improvements to make botting fun again:

      1) better FPS/better latency (GGG and the Buddy-Team should keep this on their to-do-list)
      2) Hardware/Setup with ZERO of this annoying "display driver has stopped" "black screen" crap
      3) a working relogger because i experience more crashes in the last week

      AT LEAST solving number 2) would be a big deal for me.
      But i am too pigheaded to change my GPU and waste like 50-100$ just to serve GGG.

      You can get a cheap shit for 40$ that could run poe on potato-mode

      the problem is: which one? :)
      GGG (of course) never made a statement which GPU fits best with the game.
      i read dozens of comments but i haven't found out which GPU is stable for botting. your comment at least was the most helpful.

      i don't want to waste time and buy a random GPU, test 2 days, fail, and then bring the parcel back to the postman ;)
