The Intel freaks are gonna start flaming but having a equivalent system with a i7 would cost at least twice as much. Yes, a i7 will run WoW faster but not 5 times WoW! - AMD FX-8350 (don't buy the new FX-9370 and FX-9590) - Get a AMD 990X mainboard (Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 is nicely priced for all you get in return, especially the 3 PCIe 16x) - 16GB RAM - 128GB SSD I think your GT520 should do well if you turn down graphics to a minimum in WoW. PS1 : the boxed cooler that comes with the FX-8350 is very noisy! PS2 : this is about what I used for multiboxing 5 accounts so it should do more then fine for 5 bots.
I really appreciate all your replies but it seems like most of the builds are "too good" for 5 bots. This is what i run right now: CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k 3.4GHz Ivy bridge 22nm Technology RAM: 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666 MHz ATI AMD Radeon HD 7950 I havent tested how many bots i can run but i can guarantee 7 bots with no problems. I would say it can run 10-12 bots if i do nothing else on the computer. So what i need now is the MINIMUM requirements for a computer that can run 5 bots. Thanks!
I7? Whose doing graphic design arkund here? we are talking wow. if I aas home I could build you a computer online for around $550 that would handle your 5. AMD and intel people are very bias(I can admit I am). try going on tomshare and looking up benchmarks for both.
AMD A10-6800K vs Intel Core i3-4340 yes a little more expensive but you'll make your money back on the electric you save Think AMD needs a small reactor.
im guessing by min. requirements he is looking for a pc specifically for botting. the specs he posted would run 5 accounts fine.
wow is 99.9% a cpu whore. you can skimp on gpu and stuff but if recommend 8gig ram and a silver+ rated psu
