"Unhandled exception has occured in a component in your application, if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue" and it keeps popping up, I can't turn off the plugin or RB itself, had to restart pc to get rid of it..
Zeken is not working in the new areas with the new mobs.. This was off the Crawlers a level 58 mob in the Dravian Hinterlands. It isn't dodging the attacks. Using Zeken 1.4.2 which is the latest according to the post on the first page at this time. (July 23 2015) Can some one fix this please [00:13:04.134 N] [Zekken] Taking screenshot. [00:13:04.177 N] [Zekken] Screenshot size: {Width=1920, Height=1080}. [00:13:04.526 N] [Zekken] Saved screenshot of unknown spell Poison Breath (4453).
All mobs not in the current database (which includes all mobs in Heavensward) must be manually added. See the first post for details on how to do so.
The developer has chosen to stop freely supporting this PlugIn and leaves it available for others to continue downloading and using, modifying as needed. You are welcome to stop using this PlugIn if you do not like it, or to send a request to Bossland for Mastahg to include this in his program by default and have him maintain it for you.
well it should be archived then because I don't know how to add stuff to this database. Nor do a lot of other people I am sure.
Seems to work fine for me. I just add the new spells in the XDatabase and hit the compile button inside Zekken plugin and my character moves out of the telegraphed attacks. You need to add it to the database yourself, there are a ton of new ones and the community will need to work together to get them compiled. For example, I was farming Chimera Mane for my weaver, so I made a simple profile to collect them. I had to add the spells in the database for it to dodge. Code: <XSpellShape> <Id>4649</Id> <Flags>Cone</Flags> <Flags>ReachLarge</Flags> <Flags>TargetedFromCaster</Flags> <Flags>DirForward</Flags> </XSpellShape> <XSpellShape> <Id>4650</Id> <Flags>Cone</Flags> <Flags>ReachLarge</Flags> <Flags>TargetedFromCaster</Flags> <Flags>DirForward</Flags> </XSpellShape> <XSpellShape> <Id>4651</Id> <Flags>Cone</Flags> <Flags>ReachLarge</Flags> <Flags>TargetedFromCaster</Flags> <Flags>DirForward</Flags> </XSpellShape> Add that to the end of the ArrayOfXSpellShape node in the xml file "XDatabase.xml" and farm the Chimera in the Beta Quadrant with a profile from the community or a custom one you make yourself.
It was never a complete database of spells.. If you go through the pages, some people have uploaded their revised databases, and as you can see.. If you ask how, you'll get a ton of answers, pretty sure the database was always meant as a community project.. If you after being shown how, still don't know how, then you could wait for some kind soul to upload theirs.. or ask for one. Why archive something that is working as intended?
Entitlement disorder Remember, not everything is always about you, and the world revolves around a couple other things too. Just because one person does not appreciate someone's countless hours of work and contribution, does not mean it should be removed from all others as well.
Look if the author isn't willing to support this plugin any longer than it should be archived or some one should take it over people do NOT know how to add stuff to the database. If no one is willing to step up and take it over then archive it. And your response is extremely rude Cloud3000 stop being such a jerk.
Maybe if you actually read what people are saying.. I'll try to repeat.. It's not broken.. it is as it was intended.. People sharing their databases. I'm not saying you should learn how to add the new spells, but don't you think that when it actually takes a screenshot of the unknown spells being cast so people can see what the spell effect is like and add, it should be considered a feature? Anyways.. You obviously still haven't even bothered reading the first post in this thread since you keep calling it broken which is probably why you are now getting the kind of responses you are..
Actually it is broken... it is not dodging attacks so if it needs to be updated then some one needs to do that. [00:13:04.134 N] [Zekken] Taking screenshot. [00:13:04.177 N] [Zekken] Screenshot size: {Width=1920, Height=1080}. [00:13:04.526 N] [Zekken] Saved screenshot of unknown spell Poison Breath (4453). I have read the thread and from what I was told by Cloud3000 there is no one supporting this plugin which means either some one should step up and support it or this thread should be archived if no one is willing to take over the project. Right now there is no developer working actively on this plugin.
The plugin still works, actually. Neverdyne is busy with other projects right now (Agil and Lisbeth) and will eventually get back to this, but this is lower on his priority list than other things. As for it not dodging an attack, if you see the code you provided ("Saved screenshot of unknown spell..."), it is attempting to give you the details you'll need to add the spell to your own database file, effectively giving you the tools to update it on your end to avoid that attack. Just because the developer hasn't added every attack in the game, or those you're running into specifically, doesn't mean the plugin is broken or that you are unable to get it to work (updating the database on your end) with minimal effort. While I'd love to go around snagging all currently "unknown" spells and providing an updated database for everyone, I have far too much on my plate as it stands. So does Neverdyne. Either be patient and wait for Neverdyne to have the time to push a new database, update your database file with the screenshot and details provided in the RB window or disable/remove the plugin if you feel it's not benefiting you in any way. While raising your voice is understandable due to not all spells being supported, when Neverdyne is busy with other priorities, while he may see your post, he's clearly not available to update Zekken at this time.
Actually, its perfectly fine. I'm going to go ahead and assume that you are new to using this system, and give you the benefit of the doubt. Below, is a copy of the first page of this thread. In it, is a description of the plugin, and how to update the database for it. You stated SOMEONE needs to update it, YOU are that someone. This plugin is still being watched by the developer, and still performs exactly the way that it is has from its inception, therefore, requiring no update whatsoever. Originally the developer in his infinite kindness, provided a baseline of hundreds of spells from hundreds of mobs throughout the world. From then on, he expected the rest of the community to come together and, after reading the first post where the plugin was downloaded from, expected them to help each other out to continue to flesh out the spell database. He even provides hand-hold type instructions on how to do it for the simple minded folk. Like me. >_> Please give this a glance over, and when you're finished reading it, in its entirety, I further encourage you to look back through the last few pages of this thread to find where some of the lovely members of this community have provided you with an even more fleshed out databases to use. Remember, whenever you use a plugin, read the first post in its entirety, and furthermore, take no-one at their word. If nothing is stated on the first post, read through the last few pages of the thread at a very minimum. This community is very good in being vocal about what works and what doesn't, and beyond that, when something doesn't work, offering fixes. This still works, has been provided free of charge, and will save your life if you choose to let it. Thank you. -newb23
That is not what I am hearing that he has discontinued support for this plugin. Everyone read this and understand it before you make another post on this thread. THE DATABASE IS PART OF THE PLUGIN if that database is not going to be maintained then the whole thread should be archived. And actually no it doesn't work because the database is so out of date that it doesn't dodge attacks. It should be the developer updating his own database not the players if he is not willing to do this then archive the thread because there is no support for this plugin. Some one needs to step up and take over the plugin and update the database. Right now Zekken is NOT working properly and needs to be updated. This plugin Zekken and Agil and other plugins made by this author has gone Pay to Use on "MMORLY" now and there is no support for this plugin which is posted here and he is supporting his paid version.
Who said I am? The plugin isn't being supported any more he only supports the paid version so this should be archived if there is no support that way people know what plugins are updated and what are not.
Just because he hasn't posted about his plans, doesn't mean they haven't been discussed among the community developers through a back-channel. While he could post to clarify things, I'd much prefer to see his time used on finalizing Lisbeth and being in a position to work on this again. Your feelings may differ. By that logic, my older profiles that I haven't worked on in months should be taken down because they haven't been finished yet. Just because something isn't 100% complete, doesn't mean it shouldn't be kept in an active forum/topic. The plugin works. The database works. While it may not be working for the attacks you've encountered, that doesn't mean it doesn't support some attacks. I'm sure Neverdyne intended to provide a complete database, over time, but to say that despite him adding the ability for someone to update things on their end, that people should not have to do anything, that's completely missing his intent. He added functionality for users to update the database so that, even if he went MIA or was busy with other things, the community could get together and share their database files. Are you volunteering? Again, it is working properly. Again, because all attacks are not accounted for doesn't mean the plugin itself is not working. When did Zekken go to a paid model? I'm fairly certain you can download it from the first post and use it immediately. At least, the 13,000 downloads indicate that. Again, where is this paid version of Zekken he's supporting?
